I quite like ice hockey, I've never really got into NHL but I've been to a few Hull Stingrays games and I was quite good mates with Cloutier before he buggered off back to Canada.

I do much prefer NFL, it's like rugby, but you can be more brutal. Prefer playing to watching, but mostly because my team are **** <laugh>

Mr Hatems right, no one that's spent 3/4 years of their life studying for one would type 'PHD'. If you'd have done one you'd have known that.

I made it to my first live NHL games this season and fell in love with the sport, its just brilliant, although I much prefer watching it live than on TV, its much easier to see the puck!

Enjoying the play-offs so far, really couldn't pick out a winner though, so many close games and upsets so far, its going to be a great post-season.

Not heard it called a melted record for a while! I call it the giant sanitary towel as 17 ave runs strait to it and that's nicknamed the red mile, when the get to the playoffs they close the trees down where the bars are and it becomes one big sea of red

That would be similar to me typing I have a BSC, when anyone who has actually got a BSc knows that BSC is the British Sugar Corporation.

What game did you manage to get too?
I think the Ducks might win it this year. I would normally want a Canadian team to win but don't want the Oilers as I live in Edmonton now and all my mates have jumped onto the bandwagon, plus they don't deserve too with getting the best picks in the last 5-6 years!
Then you have the Leafs fans and if you know any I don't need to say anymore!

No, you don't have a PhD, but you do have a pH. It should be about 7.4 if you are healthy.

I saw the Panthers play the Stars and Tampa Bay play the Rangers. The Panthers game was good but the arena was half empty so the atmosphere wasn't brilliant. The Tampa Bay game was great though, loads of Rangers fans had travelled and it made for a great atmosphere.

Its a shame about the Flames, I was rooting for them top win it having spent some time in Calgary last year and making friends with some Flames fans.

Love the Stanley Cup playoffs. My St. Louis Blues are up 3-1 on Minnesota, and hope to close out the series on Saturday. I have mixed feelings about the Blackhawks getting swept out of the competition as they are the Blues' primary rivals. Playoff series between the two clubs are always as intense as it gets. However, that level of sustained intensity can be draining and a detriment in the long grind that is the Stanley Cup playoffs. Down the Wild and bring on Nashville!

I can not see Minnesota coming back now, it would of been a good match up you v the Hawks think the Capitals will get to the final from the East

Love the game. Played it for 14 years and played for the seahawks on a couple of occasions. Youth development at hull was the best in the country

Watched a bit of NHL while on trips across the pond. I found it quite entertaining but it felt a little WWE to me.

The pretty ones score. The ugly ones fight.

Basketball was the eye opener for me. The pace, skill and just everything was like nowt I'd seen. I'd played it for my camp when I first joined up but a local county league was like a different game.
