Just bought another DVD from my Local charity shop, so tonight's Film is " the history boys " havnt Seen it but some good actors in It so here's hoping ....
Watched seven episodes of series three of Broadchurch over the last few nights, it's an excellent show and feels like it's building to a great ending, or at least I hope so. For those that haven't seen it get it watched, it's great telly.
enjoyed series three of Broadchurch, and if you want more of Jodie Whittaker, I watched Adult Life Skills last night, a little indie comedy/drama which I recommend if you like that kind of thing
6th series of Homeland has just finished; anyone not seen who likes a good spy yarn can't go wrong watching these - good story telling and some great performances. I'm only gutted that they've killed off the gorgeous Astrid, not a regular player but, she'll be missed by those who appreciate the female form ...
Broadchurch was good, Line Of Duty is bloody incredible. Films: The Whole Truth (2016) worth a watch Sleepless (2017) heavy on the action, seen worse.
I just watched Boyhood. I'd been looking forward to this cos the concept interested me and it had almost gushing reviews across the board but - Jesus H - what a pile of ****. It was so humdrum and nothing happened, I might as well have just watched any kid grow up from a distance. A commitment to making a film over 12 years does not make it a ****ing good watch. Babba.
I started watching Point Break last night (the 2015 remake with Ray Winstone), what a bag of ****e, I gave up half way through.
I first tried watching Deer Hunter many years ago, but it was wrong place, wrong time and it never worked. The dawn chorus woke me early, so, this morning I have put that right and I 'm pleased I did. Superb. I can't recall when I have watched a more complete, thought provoking film. 10/10.
It is a brilliant film, but **** me it's a tough watch. You come out the other side feeling physically and mentally drained.
