Why have we had such an appalling injury record this season ? Is it because our team is stuffed full of decrepid old f rts, or is it because our manager demands a training regime that breaks bodies and a team morale that isn't prepared to work through a bit of pain ..... or is it all of the above ?

Tomorrow's injuries are down to players bottling it cause they know well get a hiding, which has been part of our problem this season. Weve got a team full of pussies.

During the season most of our injuries have come during game time so i think weve just been really unlucky.

I blame the tiny squad, the amount of injury prone players personally with a few down to pure bad luck. Catts, Hoff, Vic all crocks, always going to suffer long spells out. Rest of the squad is tiny forcing players to play with knocks which increases chances of flare ups and leaves players susceptible to other injuries.

It's a squad game, stop maintaining it and we suffer. We stopped maintaining it so we suffered imo. Even filling out on freebies and old men for a pittance didn't even get the required numbers in. Leads me to believe the wage budget was never enough to get the numbers in needed. We had no chance this season.

Bad luck, with Young Dunc and Paddy maybe, but the rest is more down to the club being badly managed, especially in the last 12 months.

Kirchoffs a crock which is why hes playing for us and not a top club, Catts is a crock, Rodwell, ill say no more, Anichibes a crock hardly played for Wba, Borini kicked the floor during a match, McNair and Watmore both got injured during a game.

I dislike Moyes but its just bad luck, his training cant be blamed.

I toyed with the idea it was Moyes' training or a knock on effect from Allardyce but I think the truth is that A) we've signed a load of crocks because we're skint B) we've also been unlucky

Gibson has barely played in the past 3 years and Oviedos had a serious injury so we dont do ourselves any favours do we.

No we don't, half the players we've had injury problems with are known crocks and the other half are just the same as what every other team has to deal with, random bad luck to non injury prone players.

Pap fullbacks like PVA are going for 10+ million. Look at who we've signed and for the prices, Ndong aside. it been cheap kids, cheap crocks, cheap reserves, cheap aged or a combination. All for a pittance. Short on numbers, made up of average 'risk' players. The summer investment left no room for bad luck but we got that as well. We whimper out with a tiny **** squad half of which are injured most of the season.

We have so many positions to fill every window that we cant afford to risk spending premiership prices on more than one or at best two positions without leaving us short in other areas, our first eleven might have kept us up but did we ever field our first eleven, nowhere near. It was almost inevitable that we would go down, the win at Palace might have been the turning point had we the right players available but we did not, and the chance was lost, this has been the worst season I can remember, as at this time last year I was convinced we had turned a corner with Big Sam, we were doomed as soon as he walked out. We missed the chance to make him regret it.
