Normal service for England, not to bad we got to the semi...

Hope fully all the youngsters who have played in the tournaments over the summer will get a start in the prem, get rid of a few overseas players and less wages..

Presumably a good proportion won't be entitled to come post Brexit, like the fruit pickers, the nurses and doctors and the hotel staff. Who thinks that's going to happen?

Watched the Confederation semi Portugal v Chile this evening. Yawn. At least there was justice at the end with Chile winning on pens. Portugal just a bunch of cheating diving whingers for me and the Ref needed some specs. Should have gone to video ref for a penalty decision and didn't. If he had a Portugal player would have walked and Chile would have won 1 - 0 in extra time. What's the point of allowing them to have a look when they don't use it.

Yep the right team won, i agree any team with Ronaldo, a great player but moaning and he is the best diver, Certain penalty for Sanchez, no dive even tho he likes that sport as well. End of injury time how did he miss open net and hits the bar.

So we're 1-1 now with the All Blacks....but I ask you 24-21 against 14 men for 55 minutes...doesn't fill me with much hope that they won't stuff us in the decider with a full 15 playing.

Correction....red card was after 25 minutes.

You ever watched Argyle play against 10 men? Trust me it's harder than playing 11 sometimes.

But Argyle seen through green tinted glasses cannot be compared to the All Blacks,

Watched the final in the Contherefcup this evening. You just knew the Germans would win somehow. What a load of diving bollox some of it was as well. Strangely the one real good foul with the forearm smash wrestling wise got away with a yellow after a video viewing. That had to be a red card all day long. This video stuff is being made to look useless by even more useless referees. I watched it all hoping for a proper kick off between the teams because it was simmering for quite a while. It nearly happened several times but not quite. These sides can't even do a bundle properly can they.

I know it's a bit naughty but when I have no direct interest in either side in a match I always hope for a ruck to start. Sometimes it's the only thing worth waiting for in a game and can be quite entertaining.

They need to look at this video lark again. In cricket and rugby the video referee looks at the incident and gives a verdict on what he sees. That verdict is then accepted without question by the actual referee. No need for the referees to go and have a look at anything. However, football referees don't appear to have any faith in their colleagues and on the two occasions I've seen it used in this competition the actual referees have cocked up. It's almost like a reluctance on their part to accept anyone else judging anything. It will not work like it is now.

At one point in that game near the end, sanchez fell over and all his players and staff literally dragged the ref to look at the monitor? He gave a corner, which wqs correct. He should of then booked the player insisting he look at the monitor or sent him off.

Surely the vidoe panel should be in his ear if they see an offence of the ball also. or he goes to the TMO.. Football is behind other sports, even tennis has a magic eye..

The strength of Scottish football was evident tonight.

Luxembourg minnows Progres Niederkorn won their first ever game in Europe by beating Rangers 2-0 (2-1 agg)......in this Europa League qualifier.
