Can't wait. First game of the season for me. Stupid foreign friendlies.
Shame there won't be more there for Lenny's first home game. He's coming across really well in his interviews isn't he.
The only call for me is does he keep that Norwegian bloke in at cm? Meyler and Larsson aren't fully fit but we can't start the game like last week again. I'd play hector in cm and put Mazuch in at the back. Apart from that, one game does not make a swallow but max stays in at left back for me.

    Greegsy
    Aina Dawson Mazuch Clark

    Bowen hector Clucas growshitski

    Campbell Hernandez

    City win this 2-0.

Last full day in Cornwall, and had a fab week.

Never heard of Burton Albion before this past couple of weeks.

It's at Fortress KCOM and Slutsky seems to get our team. Good mix of youth and experience for me.

4 nowt. Lump on that lads/ladies. Nailed on.

    You Ull.

    Me neither.

Shouldn't need to do much more than turn up and it's in the bag. Easy 3 points.

Talking to a chap yesterday during a CoC gig. Pass holder for 49 years. He won't be there today because of you-know-who. Its a crying out shame that the owners have created reactions like this.

On the game, I don't think it will be the easy game, that some predict...I can see a City win, but I don't for one second believe it will be a landslide.
The size and lethargy of the crowd may well make it a stinker.

Agree 100% , if city stick to there usual script(poor first half followed by a decent second half)then i think it will be either a 1-1 or a 2-1 to city, either way Burton will make us work hard for anything we get.

The first jar of Marmite was produced in Burton in 1902. Marmite is an off-shoot of the beer industry there, using brewers’ yeast by-product to make it.

That's about it really, which says a lot.

Oh, and don't forget the other local trait, Burton Men swear.

To me this has got the feel of that game vs Posh at home when - I think - they'd lost every game so far that season and Boyd subsequently tore us to shreds.

    19/4 is a **** of a good price.

After all the condescending, patronising posts about Burton It will be a tad embarrassing if City lose to a team fromma place with a smaller population than Bransholme.

Burton existed before there was a Kingston Upon Hull, received a Royal Charter before Hull. And stuff produced there has created more good feeling.

My local landlord's wife is from Burton. Must show her these comments as she is easy to wind up at the best of times.

To be fair, they sound confident if they're only fielding two players. What position do Bert and Al Behan play?

    Groshit Hector Clucas Bowen

Dour affair, nil nil at half time
    1-1 in the end

Hopefully someone will have sorted new songs for players. Something about Hector's House maybe?!

2-1, come from behind. Akins to score first, Hernandez double in the second half.

Always hard to get your first win (unless you're Marco Silva) .. going for a hard fought 2-1 .. onwards and upwards .. Cloughie won't make it easy for us
