I am glad for him, he showed some promise but I think he was unable to adapt to the League 2 football. Good Luck Bully!

Nathan Blissett got himself red carded tonight in the St Lukes Challenge Cup.....Argyle beat Barnstaple away 4-1.
Please tell me someone this doesn't effect him playing in Div 1 on Saturday ?

Jordan Bentley also played against Barnstaple tonight.
Argyle will activate a 28 day recall clause for his return from Sutton United, who he joined on loan at the beginning of September....he has not played in any of their matches since going there.

Blissett's red card might be seen as a first team fixture, so it seems....which could mean a three game ban....has somebody put an horse shoe up at Home Park the wrong way round....could someone check please.

It seems that the Barnstaple game is classed as a first team game...which means Blissett's straight red is a three game ban.

BUT the good news is that it becomes Graham Carey's third game of his ban and he will be available for the Doncaster game.

A case of do you want the good news or the bad news first question...:emoticon-0120-doh:.

In the light of day it seems that the Devon FA got it wrong yesterday and had to change their mind regarding their Blissett and Carey comments.

The facts are that Blissett's red card only applies to Devon FA games...so he is banned for the next three games that PAFC play in their competitions.

This means that Carey isn't available for Saturdays Doncaster match....that will be his third game that he misses because of his straight red.

No idea who at the Devon FA was advising the 'Herald' ,-they were very wrong, and I have no idea why anyone would think at local cup/league match would affect anything that happens in the professional game.

Looks like Liverpool are on the verge of loaning out Plymouth born Lloyd Jones to Preston, another step in his education.

Update on injuries...Jervis out for up to 10 days with a groin injury.....le Loeke has a back injury, he has a bulging disc and faces spending sometime out.....Threlkeld and Taylor-Sinclair have returned to light training....none of these will be available for Wigan on Tuesday or Bristol R on Saturday.
Derek Adams is still looking on the free agent market for someone to fit his needs,....there is budget available for that.

Adam's say there is indeed money for further recruitment but doubts there are adequate players available as free agents.
