I think the ref gave it for Sokolik pushing the player in the back. I haven't seen the highlights though.

We were quite strong defensively but we rode our luck until it ran out. It is hard to see where our goals are going to come from.

I still have confidence in Derek to turn this around (there is still time)

Watched the video a few times and a difficult angle to see if Sokolik pushed him....to me it looked as if the Wigan man just threw himself to the ground.

Sokolik touched him.... didn't look enough to cause the tumble but that's the way this division is... crooked.

We will turn this around soon, we need to get everyone back and get on with it.. Keep our heads in the matches, surely the players must realise now that this is a different battle compared to last year and the same **** refs and dirty tactics..
Keep it going im sure the goals will come, we have been in this position before. Adams will pul us though.. The moaners will always be there....:eek:

Lets not start blaming the supporters for moaning. They pay their money to watch a decent game and be entertained. They don't expect to win every match but they do expect something for their cash. If you went for a meal and the food was crap you'd complain so what's the difference. I maintain all is not well in the good ship Argyle. Not sure what the ailment is but I'd guess there is one somewhere. The players seem to be not on message or song as they were last season. There are a number of new ones so is this disruptive in any way. Whatever the reason for the form it simply isn't good enough and Argyle's loyal supporters have suffered enough for the club previously without them having to go through the hoop again.

I think the key is in the name. Supporters. This is a very bad spell, no doubt about it, but the team I saw against Charlton, still in 7th place, showed they can do it. It's too soon to start making matters worse by booing the players, calling for the manager who got us promoted just a few months ago to be sacked and the owner who saved us from liquidation to do what.... walk away like the guy at Orient? I'm not suggesting you are doing those things Sensible but others are.

What I will say is a shame is that my better half, who works with 5-11 year old kids, noted that there was a surge of interest amongst them last season, actively coming to her to discuss the games etc. Being kids, there's an equal amount of disappointment now and it would be a shame if that young support drifted away.

There is nothing wrong with team spirit or anything like that. Anyone who was there on Tuesday will tell you how much of a shift all the players put in and how gutted they all were at the end. If they don't, they are moaning for moaning's sake. Not aware of any ailment anywhere else either. We have played pretty well in phases, not had any luck at all, and have barely had more than 18 players to pick from on any match due to injuries and suspensions. See what happens, but I am convinced that we will be in a better position after another 10 matches.

But the so called moaners ARE supporters. They are supporters who are concerned about the way this season is going. They are entitled to moan and just because they do does not make them non supporters notdistant. They pay their money over and it just isn't right that they are not allowed to have a drip when they are being short changed. I agree that the side haven't had any luck apart from bad luck that is but it still looks as if things are not right. They may be fine but people are looking for something to pin the bad stuff on.

I don't go along with lets look after 10 games and then if not well then lets make it 20 or then 30. Whatever is wrong needs looking at now before it becomes too late to look at anything. We had season after season of pain hopeful that it would get better. Before we knew it we had been relegated twice and fought 2 rear guard actions to save our league sgatus. You can hardly blame folk for getting nervous can you.

Being nervous and even moaning is one thing. Calling for the sacking of the manager who just got us promoted is another. He deserves better than that.

Sawyer can't be blamed fro the ball grazing his knee and flying in at the near post and the are similar examples but if anyone needs to be moaned at, it's one or two of the players who've let the team down by getting sent off. I'll exclude Edwards, who at least went for fouls rather than reacting to provocation.

In any event, whoever the manager, we'd have to sweat it out until we have a fuller availability of players and even until January, when we can bring in a couple more (striker and full back please Father Christmas). I can't see why anyone should be trusted with that more than Adams.

Get promoted and it's all down to the Manager who takes the applause and the credit. When in the proverbial then who is it who should take the blame? It's sure as hell not the people who pay to go. You are only as good as your last success or failure as you probably already know in your line of work. There is no shock in people calling for blood whether rightly or wrongly.
