May have a look at that book... when is it released.

On another note.. Scum, or Travellers have set up camp out side our office/unit in Darklake Park today. Beware as they are in the area of Glenholt..

Nothing the police will do as they are parked in the Unit of Bartlett Refrigeration.. Have to serve the scum notice.. Not pleasant on the business park today, as its not council owned either.. Its privately owned so its down to us.. Or on this case Bartlett to get an eviction order.. How long will that take to move these scum bags..

Also had a window smashed on a van last night and the scum took £4.00 coins no tools got took? that was in the ford area..
What is this country coming to.. i now have to keep driving to our office and checking, yes have cctv and alarms to the security south west.. but will this deter these twats .. :emoticon-0146-punch:emoticon-0146-punch

It might be the same bunch who parked outside our houses on the park for several weeks. Ask one of them if they remember the "fat old c*** Well that's how one described me when I objected to them driving across the park itself to drop their kids off at the play area. Apart from wrecking the grassed area and creating a load of mess around the place they didn't really bother the houses. You have to serve them with a notice first which needs to become valid and then you can apply for an order to evict them. Once you get the order then it needs to expire before the Baliffs can move in. These people are so well versed they know exactly what their rights are and what you can and can't do.

well there aew only 4 vans we have spoken to the council and police today and that the order has been issued so now await the next move . i don’t think they will do any damage to the properties or try and get in as we have all the vans numbers as they are registered to an address somewhere as they are all new .. it’s the mess they leave behind the kids are causing havoc ****ting in the grass and chasing the deer . they all have the same uniform grey traxk suits and hoody .. scum

I see the Travellers have promised to be clean and be good. I'll take bets now that they won't be.

When I was switching off the new machine last night the thing told me not to as it was inserting an update. Never tells you what it's updating just bosses you about. Gets to 30% and it switches itself off. When I switch on tonight the thing starts with the 30% logo and again says don't switch off. Well I wouldn't would I as I'd just switched it on. Anyway, it gets to 100% and then just stays like that for ages and ages. There was me not knowing what to do or what was happening anymore because all it has is the blank background and the words 100% and don't switch off your computer. I thought it was buggered and I've only recent got the bleddy thing. Windows 10 is crap by the way so if you haven't got it don't rush out and buy it. I pressed a few buttons and nothing moved so I just turned it off anyway. About an hour ago I decided to try again and it came on with the same logo on screen. Fecking hell I thought but decided to just leave it on for a little while and see if anything happened. After a short time, because I hadn't got it plugged into the mains and it was just running on battery it switched itself off. I knocked a button to bring it back in and lo and behold the normal log in logo came up and it's now fine and dandy. Having had to endure a 15 minute tirade from her who knows everything about me must have done something to cock it up I have decided I hate technology even more than I did before. Why do people who know absolutely zero about stuff feel obliged to become an instant expert and tell you that it must be you who has erred. I'll let her out of the cupboard in a minute as I think she's quietened down enough now.

Windows 10 is great but it's gone back to MS' dictatorial approach to updates, giving you little or no choice as to when they happen or what they do. From their side of the fence, a lot of these upgrades are for security purposes. Left to the users, updates tend not to get done but then MS gets blamed when computers get hijacked by some spotty faced nerd in North Korea and his ransom ware, so they force the updates on us..

You are unlucky as MS is doing a major round of updates at present. My machine has been randomly rebooting itself which I think is due to updates.

In the Cortana box at the bottom left of the screen, type "Updates". Select "Windows Updates Settings". Select "Restart Options". Select "Show More Notifications" ON. At least then you'll get some warning and a bit of control when it reboots and starts the update..

And when it says "Do Not Switch Your Computer Off", don't switch your computer off. It's tempting, but don't, it means what it says. You got away with it this time but you may not be lucky again.

If you have a separate video card, one of the nasty things it can do is to update the video driver with the Windows update. If you start your machine and the picture doesn't work, the chances are that's what's happened!

The new Desk Top I bought in January is using Windows 7 Professional....which I find easy to use....the shop recommended that, instead of Windows 10, which it could use as well....they thought that what I wanted to do with it was best without Windows 10....which they thought needed awhile to iron out problems that it has.

To be fair I don't have much of a clue on any of it. What I want to do is very limited so I think Windows 10 is a tad over the top. Still as long as it does what I want then I'll just stick to the easy things

Well, from where MS were with Vista and the truly dreadful Windows 8, Windows 10 is fantastic! You can change most stuff but they have gone back to their authoritarian ways as regards updates.

My missus has got X factor on and I'm desperately trying to ignore it. Trouble is everytime an act comes on they keep swapping people around and the crowd and even the panel keep baying for them to come back. This HAS to be a put up job. I am totally convinced that the final people are decided long before this stage is reached and the rest is just theatre to make it seem exciting. These programmes get on my tits which I guess must show my age. What the feck has out tele come to..................

I haven't got any authority plym. She tells me it's girl power and I tell her she hasn't been a girl for the last 50 odd years. Makes no difference. She doesn't have to change the locks either, I haven't got a key to this one. Says I'd only lose it but I think she has other motives than that.

4 games without a card of any colour-coincident with an upturn in form. No idea if the two are related but it feels like some sort of record not to even get a yellow in 4 games?

They aren't looking too far up. Hers got bleddy X Factor on again....................is this the most cringeworthy programme on the TV after all the ones on reality channels?

Mind you sounds like the wind has stopped trying to blow my roof off and it's calmed down out there. Lets hope that's it for this winter now. Don't mind rain or a bit of snow even but don't like high winds. Can cause too much damage.

Has anyone else noticed how easy it seems to be to lose the new £5 and £10 notes.

Both are hard to fold and slip into a breast shirt pocket....especially the larger £10 note.....I have already found one of each blowing around in the street....may long it continue.

ps....I don't put them anywhere else than in my wallet these days.....you try and fold one up and it opens up like a spring.

My missus hates them plym. She makes sure I don't keep any either in my pocket or my wallet. She bleddy spends them. Mind you she doesn''t like me having any £20s either. Couple of £1 coins and she reckons that's enough for me to manage.
