Moved on now to winter news....which is...we're out of the Cup....first time we've had three goals scored against us away from home.

The season that keeps on giving.............

Just been reading a thread on another site which was talking about players who may or may not be "released" in the January window. I'm not one to speculate about players coming or going usually and not really starting here. What prompted the post now was the mention of Wylde and a question somebody asked on there. The question was why did Adams sign him for a second time for Argyle when he has had very little time on the pitch. If Adams did not want to play him then why did he sign him when a good few I know weren't kean on him being here first time around. Me included in that. What a total waste of money in wages he is turning out to be yet again. Why does Adams persist in signing the man it seems wherever he goes? Can't be a love child as Adams isn't old enough.

He probably brought Wylde back because he was available and needed some bench warmers to make the numbers up....but even when players were falling like flies or became unavailable because of red cards...he still didn't get much game time....it's just confusing....maybe Adams thought he couldn't play that bad second time around.
His first game for Argyle was at Wimbledon....also Adams first game....he scored a thunderous volley in a 2-0 win....he looked good then....what went wrong ?

The alternative to him being a love child is that he has some sort of incriminating photos or a story Adams wouldn't like to share. I didn't understand the re-signing at the time and sure as hell don't understand it now given the not playing him bit.

Ruben Lameiras it seems will be on the way to Oldham during the January window....it seems that he has already play a behind closed doors friendly for them.

Incriminating letter, saying Adams really prefers playing two up front.....

GOOD GRIEF...another emergency loan goalkeeper (7th keeper)....Kelle Roos from Derby.....Luke has injured himself in training.

PS.....sensible did you find your gloves....might be worth taking them along tomorrow....it's either you or the tea lady on the bench.

PSS....seen with a knee brace on.

Thinking of advertising for someone to be my deputy. Their sole responsibility will be to look after the Goalkeeper contracts....

This goalkeeper thing is becoming a complete joke now. Seven (7) different keepers already and half the season isn't over yet. This has to be some sort of record surely. It really is as if Argyle are cursed this season because the amount of luck we are getting with anything at all is just none. People keep saying that luck evens itself out over the course of a season. If that were to be true then our second half should mean we go undefeated for all of it. Anyone believe that? No didn't think so and I certainly don't.

Lameiras going wouldn't be a great loss for me. As long as Carey was fit then he was never going to get much of a look in and him leaving would set a few quid free from the wage bill. Think we will need all the funds we can get in the window.

Out of favour Nadir Ciftci might of played his last game for Argyle...with Taylor back playing and Blissett favoured for the bench, Ciftci could have his year contract at Argyle terminated in January....there is believed to be a clause allowing that.

No more news about Lameiras since his trip to Oldham as yet.

Absolutely brilliant result in the U18 youth cup versus Man City tonight. In front of 1800+ spectators the Argyle side beat Man City on penalties after extra time played out to a 0 - 0 result. We won it 6 - 5. Chuffed to bits for them.

Strange how people 'believe'all sorts of strange things. I think you will probably find that for an international loan (which is what this is) the rules are a bit different than loans within the same association.

Interest has grown in Tourmani Diagouraga whose Argyle contract ends at the end of January...Portsmouth, Shrewsbury and Bolton are showing an interest.

I have literally just been reading that on the Herald site plym. I hope upon hopes that he doesn't go. I think if you could sort out one player who has made a difference since joining then it would be him this season. He is such an odd player in some ways. He looks pedestrian most of the time yet gets the ball often, passes it to a team mate which can be novel here and always seems to be in a bit of space. Pity his team mates can't get the idea of movement as well as they would be world beaters if they did. Toumi please don't go.

Reading around the sites.....Oldham have not responded to Ruben Lameiras's trial with them as yet...but Bradford seem to be showing interest in him.

Luton could still be interested in Sonny Bradley.

Second that about Tourmani Diagouraga. Frightening even to look at size wise and yet with some elegant touches.

Norwich do seem to be interested in loaning Remi Matthews to Argyle in January until the end of the season....so that he can gain league football experience.

How does that fit in with Argyle's present crop of goalkeepers.

1.....Will Luke McCormick still be No1 when fully fit ?
2.....Kyle Letheren proved he was ok...what happens when he is fully fit ?
3.....Robbert te Loake does seem to be surplus to requirements.
4.....Michael Cooper is a good bet for the future...should still be maturing and at 18 still growing and will be stronger.
5.....All other emergency loans will then not be needed....hopefully.

My main question is....how much longer has McCormick got as No1 ?

Will Norwich expect Matthews to have a fair share of the games available ?

Lets's worry about that when they are fit! Who knows what the timescales are?
