It's Boxing Day and things have gone swimmingly so far over the festive period. Ok we have only played one so far it's true but still it's been good. So. what could possibly go wrong for this one? I haven't bothered to look up what the current form guide tells us for this one. Ours must be one of the better ones in the league over the last 5 or 6 games so it's a bit pointless. As long as they end up pointless and we don't that 's all that matters. My mate reckons Argyle were going to be out of the relegation zone and be on 30 points minimum by the end of the first game in January. His prediction is beginning to look reasonable now so no worries then. Come on Argyle, lets keep this momentum going.
Gary Sawyer of all people scores on 16 mins, 0-1 to Argyle. Argyle Away Days@ArgyleAwayDays 1m1 minute ago More Beautifully worked goal! Great through ball by Reuben and composed accurate finish by Sawyer! #pafc
More important take a look at the other results around us. I think this was almost the perfect result. Chuffed to bits.
Just had a look at their ground on football ground guide. ....very nice indeed, just a pity HP wasn't planned similarly before the revamp.
Away at Blackpool on Saturday...hp.....going through a poor form time just like MK Dons.....encouraging for us.
If I tell you that the MK Dons stadium is next to an Ikea, and a giant Asda, all built as a greenfield development next to the A5, you know where the money came from.
If you click on......Football Ground Guide....Official Site...you can view all league and non-league clubs...ground pictures....lots of info....and write ups from visiting supporters comments....plus travelling details.....I've added it to my favourites list....always at hand with a click of a button....just been looking at MK Dons, 30,000 stadium....cost £50 million and it's in a retail park. Also looked up my local team Bromley Town (3miles away) learnt more about it from this website than I already knew.....worth having on your favourites.....gives you a feel of where Argyle will be next game...if you don't go to many away games of course.
Been using it for years Plym, viewing old grounds is interesting especially that Scottish ground in the middle of the woods with the terracing overgrown. Lol!
In the late 1980's Charlton didn't just have trees and shrubs growing on their terracing....but growing on their pitch as well....hard to comprehend now.
