Here we are at the last of our Christmas matches and a series so far that has been pretty reasonable. What could possibly go wrong at this stage? Once more this is a club we can top if we get the right result. Our form has held up pretty well over the last half dozen whereas Walsall have been slightly hit or miss. It is a match we should win and can win but that hasn't always been the case with us has it. Sadly I'm not going to go to this one even though I would like to. I therefore rely on the green army to cheer them over the line.
Sarcevic in for Songo'o...who is now on the bench....surely we need Songo'o pretecting the back four....puzzling.....let's hope it works.
Sarcevic offers a bit more going forward: I suspect he's playing in a midfield 3 rather than Songo'o sitting behind Fox and Diaragua. Seems a decent start: Walsall official feed states PAFC have started the stronger.
One of 3 we can't afford to lose: Taylor, Threlkeld and Carey. We have no replacement for first and last and Miller for Threlkeld!
I have proper flu and may not make it to Saturday but managed to drag myself into work today. A cracking result making it 10 from 12 over the Christmas break-outstanding. Ryan's goal was a thing of beauty. Everyone played well, crowd was quietish (hangovers?) . No subs used.......so the same 18 for all 4 matches and very few changes to the starting 11s. A couple looked leggy at the start of the match but warmed into it. Bury up next ...surely another 3 points? PS If I expire this week, it has been a pleasure knowing you all.
Still feeling crud but was cheered by the result today. Kept up with it as best I could and it only seemed like time before we scored. It was indeed a happy new year. One thing about struggling into work lyndie. If the Argyle squad go down with flu now we will all know where to point the finger of guilt. It is not always clever to be brave..................
You naval types just don't seem to have the stamina like us brylcreem boys....you'll never get to my age.......
It's because we don't cover ourselves in grease before we go out and wear tights.......................
