    Surprise announcement from Bristol Rovers that Martin Starnes will be their new CEO starting 9th July.

    Saw that earlier and thought about putting it on the Bristol Rovers match day thread. Who was he shouting for on Saturday I wonder.

    See Argyle also have two new directors. Both ladies. No money of course.

    He would absolutely love it if we (PAFC) got promoted this season.

    So two new PAFC Directors announced.....both ladies.....Jane Chafer and Joanna Cubbon.

    Do we have any idea what they will bring to the board ?

    Seriously, gender balance is a thing of its self these days.

    However, these two ladies have experience at a senior level in "public interest" type organisations. Interesting way of thinking about a football club but community involvement is increasingly expected and valuable.

    Just for confirmation sake I will add that I couldn't care less if all the staff and board were women even the players to be honest. All I ask is that whoever is in whatever post does a good job and isn't just there to make up numbers.

    If Adams goes then somebody else with supposed football knowledge will take his place plym so I'm not sure that is relevant.
