I'm a nervous wreck listening to this on the radio. Why is it always more nerve wracking listening to us defend a lead than it is listening to us chasing an equaliser?
I reckon his new "fitness regime" involves a similar one to Lance Armstrong's... He could run round the Tour de France faster than Froome could cycle it.
Good win, good game, but let's put this in context. There was a reason I put us as favourites, and it wasn't our recent form. Arsenal came with the poorest line-up they have brought to St James'. Willock was a passenger, Iwobi is a downgrade on Walcott, their defence make the same mistakes game on game, and quite genuinely, our midfield are better. We will not get this privilege next season, especially if Arsene is gone, as I'm starting to think is quite inevitable. I fully expect to pop over to the Arsenal board, to see "Wenger out" X 50. However, still took a performance, especially coming from behind, and they delivered again as a unit. No real poor performances amongst the lot.
Our top goalscorer has 5. If we'd signed the top striker everyone knew we needed who knows where we could be
We still played against 11 players in Arsenal shirts We still got three points for beating them The rest - I don't give a **** about
Apparently, that was the first time in 4 years we have come from behind to win a home Premier League game.
Indeed, and I think we can win a couple more. I didn't think we'd get past 41 after the first 15 games, so Rafa has done a great job, especially with next to zero investment.
