They only need 3 points now. Huddersfield look most likely to go with west brom and stoke

I want Southampton to stay up, I don't want us to lose track of their scouts...I mean because I like @The Liebherr Legacy, in a friend way not gay... I'll stop now.

Southampton to stay up and West Ham to take their place, losing to Sam Allardyce on the final day to seal their relegation.
Come on, it would be extremely funny, wouldn't it?

Swansea have the easiest run in - Bournemouth, Saints, Stoke.

Even if we beat them at The Liberty, it might not be enough to finish above them.

Hudds are in trouble...free fall...they missed their chance against Everton...best hope is against Arsenal now

Southampton have Everton and Swansea away and City at home.
Even if they beat Swansea, I think they will need at least a draw at Everton as Swansea play Stoke at home on the last day.
Unless Huddersfield lose their last three.
Tough ask unless City are on the beach.

It would be funny yes but West Ham still have us to play so that 3 points would put them 6 ahead of Southampton with Southampton having a maximum of 9 to play for so it won’t happen

I can’t see them getting another point, which would mean Soton need 3 more points to stay up.

Catching Hudders is our best chance of staying up, but even if they manage one point from their three remaining games - at home to Arsenal, say - that leaves us needing 4 points from Everton and Swansea, as we probably won't get anything from City. And that would require a massive turnaround in form sufficient to justify Sparky being carried through Southampton on the shoulders of the team..

You’ll have to beat Swansea away imo, as I can’t see us gifting you 3 points next week.

Our last league win before this weekend was against you lot last November. It would be handy if you could play like that again please. I am also hoping Theo does the decent thing and declares himself unfit.

I expect we will turn up at Goodison looking for a point, but we are not good enough to be sure of a clean sheet, so will probably have to try and create something at some point. I'd take a point now though, and I'm sure Hughes would too.

A clean sheet you mean? That was our first for a while, yeah.

Big Sam will be eager to finish at home with a performance. I can see us being attacking for once.
