For the last time this year then!

Potentially it's another 4 games... arrangements have been made for a play-off for the play-offs should Argyle and Charlton finish equal on points and goal difference. We beat them 2-0 at Home Park and they beat us 2-0 up there.

As an academic question, if a player at another club is released from his contract at 5pm tonight, does he then become a free agent that can be brought in outside the transfer window? Over to you Lyndhurst.

    AFC Wimbledon 1 - 0 Bury
    Blackburn Rovers 3 - 0 Oxford United ( Joker )
    Doncaster Rovers 0 - 2 Wigan Athletic
    Fleetwood Town 1 - 1 Walsall
    Gillingham 0 - 2 Plymouth Argyle ( 17 mins )
    Northampton Town 0 - 1 Oldham Athletic
    Portsmouth 1 - 1 Peterborough United
    Rochdale 0 - 2 Charlton Athletic
    Rotherham United 1 - 1 Blackpool
Scunthorpe United 0 - 2 Milton Keynes Dons
    Southend United 3 - 0 Bristol Rovers

Morning, well a disappointing end to the season, but hey we have had a great season, finished 7th after a poor start, everyone had us for certain to drop back down.. Adams and the team deserve the credit as does the Chairman for sticking with him..

Top this week with treble points at stake was Lyndy with 48 and the goal time nearest, Next was me on 27, then BC who had 24, then Plym on 15, Sensible, Not distant and hobo all had 12.

The points for the final position went to Lyndy and HOBO who had 6 place. They get 100 points bonus . Well done to them and puts Lyndy Top for the final standing, also Hobo off the bootom <bubbly><bubbly><bubbly>:emoticon-0148-yes:

Thanks for all taking part it has been good fun and enjoyed it again, see you all next season in League1.

Now the world cup next <monster>

I thank you all- it was a totally unexpected final position. I have just presented myself with a unique piece of PAFC memorabilia that I was saving for the winner..

NotDistant-no he doesn't, you can only sign a player outside a window if he is was 'unemployed' when the last window closed and in any event a player has to be signed by the third Thursday in March to play that season. All standard football contracts run from 1st July until 30th June so although a lot of business is done in May and June they do not officially become registered until 1st July.

Well done Lyndy.....I'm not sure so many points should be attached to the mid-season and end of season positions....there is no way you can win the prediction league without those positions being in your total points.
OK.....sounds like sour grapes, but it's all good fun in the end, well done everyone for sticking at it....and thanks Joe for overseeing it.....we realize you have other things on your mind as well so thanks again.

I knew you'd know Lyndhurst. I also knew we wouldn't be signing Sergio Aquero when he's released by Man City! Has to be the best player in England not even to have to get changed this weekend.

Joe I'm sorry to break this to you again but Hobo also predicted that Argyle would end 6th. Therefore he equals lyndies guess. He should also get 100 points which makes you this years ginster winner. Look back on page 2 of this thread.................

Unlucky Joe, I hope the pasties go quickly and as painlessly as possible. Thanks to you (and sensible) again for the working the stats.
I have enjoyed this immensely and will certainly be involved next season. (endeavouring to enter every week next time!)

Are these Ginsters left over from last year.....that you've been recycling with the help of an pneumatic drill.....or have you from the kindness of your heart bought yourself a new batch....or bought a proper pasty and slipped an old Ginsters wrapper on it to fool us all..

They are matured from 2 years ago .. i would not buy a pasty Plym of any make or quality. yuk... The only good thing in a pasty is the carrot and turnip...

But there was none of that in the ginsters, a few bits hair and a tail :emoticon-0119-puke::emoticon-0160-movie
