If I were the club I'd send somebody to intercept him around Taunton way and take him out onto Exmoor for a camping weekend. I know Premier clubs complain about officials and sometimes they are changed but this is league one Joe. Does anyone at the FA give FA care.
That would be treating him, taking him camping! .. Your right all the FA care about is the top league as the Brown envelopes are fatter..
He took charge of the match at Wembley for the EFL Trophy final. I do feel he handled the game against Orient awfully, but I will restrain myself from hurling abuse at him and give him another chance (new season and all that - judge him on this game). I also agree that constant fan abuse towards him is likely to give Argyle a disadvantage.
I don't feel as if it is hurling abuse at him to say the man is not only incompetent but he re-enforces it by becoming a liar as well. I have read a few exchanges on this subject on pasoti where there are many who agree with me. It's telling though that there are several referees who post on pasoti and to a man virtually they are defending one of their own. "No proof he saw the incident" "No proof he lied" ans so on. When you see the video of this he is looking directly at the thing and puts his whistle to his mouth and points. Then he takes no action at the time. His report then says he didn't see it when it is blatantly obvious he did. That is fellow referees trying to defend the indefesible. He deserves the abuse even if I personally wouldn't shout it. I agree that this bloke is daft enough to allow himself to be swayed by supporters abuse in his direction. I think Argyle should complain and try to get him shifted off this match.
It wasn't just the ball boy incident he failed to handle properly. The whole match was a disgrace and if there had been a referee present, it's quite feasible that Orient would have had enough players sent off for the game to be abandoned.
By jove sensible.....we've let this go a bit....some of those barrels have matured a little and down in the cellar those crisps and nuts have gone rather soft.....I'm sure I saw the ghost of Mrs LaLaLa for a moment....or was it one of your spare bar girls you'd hidden away.
There aint no soft nuts in this establishment young man. I've been quietly drinking the beer and eating the stuff with Hobo for a while now. We have replaced the empties and sprinkled a bit of dust around so nobody knows we've been here. The woman you saw was Hobo in his nightshirt.
Disillusioned I think how James Brent was running the club......running it as a business....balancing the books.....living within our means.....how dare he.....
Steady on Joe.....they might be keeping an eye on us....you never know.....morning Mrs LaLa and that lovely Gat....how you both keeping....
They wont be looking at this, they are knitting hats and scarves.. I wonder how that Pidgeon is mrs lala had
I want to raise a glass tonight to the two clubs who have managed to get to Wembley for the play off game in League one this season. For a change it is the clubs that came third and fourth in the league over the season who have managed it. I think it would have been unjust if Shrewsbury had failed to get the chance and Rotherham were the next in line points wise. Well done to both of them even if I have a little soft spot for the Shrews who were points clear of the rest and for me deserve it.
If Rotherham win the final...that will be all three relegated clubs last year returning to the Championship.
FA TROPHY FINAL AT WEMBLEY...4-15pm today. My local team Bromley who came 9th in the Vanarama National League (level 5) this season are playing against Brackley Town who came 3rd in the National League North (level 6). If they win....this would be their highest achievement since the days of amateur football when they won the Amateur Cup three times. Might have a pint if they win...so make sure the bars open after 6pm....there's talk at Wembley that Bromley have sold 17,000 tickets.....they only get about a 1,000 for home games
Need more than a drink the way that game finished....Bromley winning 1-0 and Brackley equalize in the 90+6th minute. No further scoring in extra time....Brackley miss their first penalty and with Bromley 4-3 up...they then miss a match winning penalty and then miss the next one as well to lose the match to Brackley by 1-1 and by 5-4 on penalties....twice Brackley came back from the dead to win....Bromley must be in shock after that.
That's correct with 10 seconds left of 6 minutes of injury time....Brackley just didn't know how to give in.
