We were poor today but the Ref allowed Saints to get away with murder. Every time a Celtic player got a breakaway a Saints player took him out and none of them were booked. I counted at least 3 times when Celtic did get a free kick a Saints player kicked the ball away. None of them got spoken to never mind a booking.

I suppose if we can get a positive outcome in Russia it will look like the correct decision, to rest so many players, but that was very poor.
So much for all our "strength in depth".

I thought Ajer played quite well. Hendry didn't do much wrong and Miller did okay. Musonda, despite his pass on Thursday night, has done very little to impress so far. The odd flash here and there but he's flattered to deceive.

Edouard doesn't have it at this level. Expect to see him plying his trade in the French lower leagues from next season. Sinclair looks like a player who's low in confidence just now although I don't know why.

Without Brown and N'tcham the team's a bit powderpuff. We're missing the sort of players who would likely have turned one point into three today: Griffiths, Roberts, maybe even Armstrong. Still, good to see Rogic back.

Win or draw on Thursday and today's result will be quickly forgotten (although we can't afford to keep dropping points like we've been doing this season - don't want to encourage the scum).

I thought this might be a thread about Stuart Armstrong going to Saints (the real Saints that is. The South Coast's finest).

    Disappointed.

On his day he can be an absolute cracker but am not so sure about his commitment to the game as for the last year or so he seemed to lack the drive he had initially (though that could have been due to his injury and/or his agents wrangling over his contract) - he's obviously a very shrewd lad ... apparently doing his accountancy exams for a future away from playing. Good luck to him anyway - hope he does well for you.

Off to Liverpool in two years then, or not that good?

On his day, certainly capable, though on recent performance, not that good. Depends how motivated he is!

Too old now I'd reckon for that sort of move. If he hits the ground running, it's been good business for all concerned.
