What’s going on here? I thought he was Leeds new manager? Says he’s close to being Chelsea manager on sky sports news?

Leeds' new manager is Marcelo Bielsa. Completely different bloke and an amazing, amazing appointment for Leeds.

Really? He's got amazing pedigree, that can never be denied. Sometimes people lose their way in football, players, chairmen and managers. His last couple of appointments have gone drastically wrong and he's never managed in English football. His last job was in France with Lille and they didn't even give him half a season before they binned him.

It's a really interesting appointment, but I won't be surprised if he's gone by Christmas.

This Sarri bloke is a lunatic. Don't last in England as the press and social media will jump all over him.

Chain smoking, racist, homophobic sexist from what I've read.

Smokes tabs on the ****ing sideline. Old school as it gets.

In terms of getting someone of his standing in the world game to go to a second tier club, I'd have said it was unbelievable! But you're right, he's an unknown quantity in terms of English football, He's not replicated his earlier successes recently, and as something of a maverick he's potentially walking a fine line between success and failure. When I said amazing I should maybe have said exciting.

He didn't exactly have a host of top clubs rushing for him which can also be telling. This appointment could potentially finish him off as a manager if it doesn't go well. If he's a huge success there, his next job could be at a top 6 club in England. It's going to be interesting, I'll be watching out for them and I'm looking forward to seeing how they play when they're on the TV.

He probably did a lot of damage to his own reputation by resigning from Marseille like he did, then leaving Lazio after two days, then all the funny business at Lille. I'd imagine most clubs would be put off by that kind of thing.
His influence on other coaches will probably be his lasting legacy to the game. Unless he does amazingly well with Leeds, I imagine that he'll be back in Argentina or Chile, or retired, in a year or two.

He did some ****ing job at Marseille though, they were close to relegation and he out Jem well back on track.

Lazio was weird and Lille well they were awful before and after.

As mentioned he’s a coach that changed the way people coach, it’s a stunning appointment for Leeds and no doubt.
