I also saw that Mellor has moved on again from Blackpool to Bradford. I quite liked him even if he was a bit accident prone at times.

Still no season ticket by the way...........

It seems that Argyle will be paying the wages of Harry Burgoyne during is time recovering from his ankle injury....not sure what the situation will be once he is fit to play again.

It is a season long loan so I'd guess he will come back here.

Two Premier keepers on loan at the same time....need to cancel Burgoyne's loan...nor realistic to have him on the books and not able to play until the new year.

I'll march on Home Park if it isn't then with my placard ...................not till after lunch though.

If the Wolves keeper is under contract plym then we can't just tear that up. Nuisance that it may be we have to honour it and if that means paying him then sadly it means doing exactly that.

So if we're having to foot the bill for an injured Keeper..... where does that leave Adams with his promised mid-fielder that he says he will bring in....does it mean that he had less money to tempt a player with.....and surely PAFC have insurance to cover such happenings and can get compensation to off-set the financial loss ?

So Gary Sawyer has been announced as the team captain for the coming season....slightly surprised at that...I felt that he might not of been first choice for the team....is this suggesting otherwise.....David Fox is vice-captain.

Has your season ticket come yet sensible.....I hear your local posties aren't to happy today.....having to get a signature for each one slows their round down on a hot day.

Yep it did plym. Have to say I'm relieved as I didn't fancy a protest march in this weather. I still think charging £3.50 per posted ticket is a bit steep. The postage was probably around £1.50 so the other £2 is admin charges. For what exactly? Folding a piece of paper and putting it in an envelope. Putting an address sticker on the envelope. Chucking it in a sack and taking it to the post office. Wasn't as if we had a choice either. My son-in-law is a posty .

The charge was £3 , it cost something like £2.70 to produce and post out. Surely 30p for labour was worth it?

Why should the customer pay for the labour? It's a bit like Supermarkets these days. They want you to do your own check out so they don't even have to do that bit. Next they will do trips to the Warehouse for for customers on a rota basis to bring the stock in and then expect people to fill the shelves as well. So, the answer to your question is a great big NO. Think about it lyndie. There is no ticket office to pick up tickets from because of work being carried out by the Club to increase the clubs value. The customer therefore had no choice but to have the season ticket posted. So, to obtain what the club is selling for it's own ends the customer has to pay for the privilege of being a customer. Not only to cover the cost but to give the Club or seller of the product a profit on the deal. Here is a suggestion. Why could the club not have a desk set up in the Life Center for a week in the corner to allow people to pick their tickets up as normal? I always got 4 of them and there are many others who liked to pick up tickets instead of waiting on the post. When I have picket up my season ticket before there has never ever been a queue so it wouldn't have inconvenienced the Center doing it. It's not the money as such but the principal of football clubs taking the p*** out of suporters as they usually do.

Are any of you watching the work at Home Park on Web Cam's 1 & 2....really getting stuck in this morning on Cam 1 up by the Façade end of the development....finishing off the new shop and ticket office ...wiring etc. Ripping down the fencing and breaking up the concrete base.....seen as many as 7 workmen within Cam range this morning.....think I saw aggregate lorries arriving in the back ground, the other side of the Façade....so I think there is a big push on finishing the ground that will be walked on before Saturdays game.
Nothing happening at present on Cam 2 site by the Chisholm Suite...since they ripped the wiring down that used to be the old control room etc.

Well im pleased with the clubs disability style now as we had a Coach called Mickey attend at Dame Hannah rodgers and have a kick about with the children in their wheel chairs ect, good for the club abd the children especially my lad who is now 7 loved it, even tho he could not kick or see the ball properly as he is in a wheel chair, great gesture and i have been told he is coming again for the next few weeks on Fridays.. This will do no harm and is great for the whole community and the club. Well done to Lyndy for his support with this last season, i think Kerry is chasing for some tickets mate.. You can text me about tickets or get hold of kerry im willing to contribute to this for the kids .. Thanks PAFC
