England face Spain in the UEFA Nations League thingy and Switzerland in a friendly. Here is the squad that Gareth Southgate selected, minus Raheem Sterling, who can't be arsed: Goalkeepers: Jack Butland (Stoke), Jordan Pickford (Everton), Alex McCarthy (Southampton) Defenders: Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool), Fabian Delph (Manchester City), Joe Gomez (Liverpool), Harry Maguire (Leicester City) Danny Rose (Tottenham Hotspur), Luke Shaw (Manchester United), John Stones (Manchester City), James Tarkowski (Burnley), Kieran Trippier (Tottenham Hotspur), Kyle Walker (Manchester City) Midfielders: Dele Alli (Tottenham Hotspur), Eric Dier (Tottenham Hotspur), Jordan Henderson (Liverpool), Adam Lallana (Liverpool), Jesse Lingard (Manchester United), Ruben Loftus-Cheek (Chelsea) Forwards: Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur), Marcus Rashford (Manchester United), Danny Welbeck (Arsenal). The Spain game is at Wembley on Saturday and it's a 7.45pm kick-off, so everyone will be well pissed up. The Switzerland match sees the teams going downmarket and visiting the King Power Stadium on Tuesday at 8pm. Scotland face Premier League regulars Belgium on Friday in a friendly at Hampden Park at 7.45pm. Their opening Nations League match is against glamorous Albania at the same venue on Monday. Wales and Ireland play each other on Thursday for their opening match. It's at Cardiff's ground. The hosts then face a Danish amateur side, as the pros have fallen out with their FA, for some reason. Ireland have a friendly in Poland instead, which may result in the odd tipple being consumed. Northern Ireland's Windsor Park is the venue for their match against Bosnia on Saturday at 2pm. It's then due to see some protests, due to a friendly against Israel at 7.45pm on Tuesday. I've no idea what this Nations League nonsense is about, so I'll leave it for someone else to educate us all.
Are you talking about England's centre forward? The guy for who Kane's only purpose is to provide flick-ons? No he's injured by having no discernible ability other than to run around quickly, though is also equipped with a special bullshit field that prevents criticism by pundits.
He probably is injured. Back injuries are notoriously difficult to detect or diagnose, though. I wouldn't blame him if he just decided to **** it off, as it's essentially friendly matches and he gets lots of stick whenever he plays for England. It's probably genuine and I was taking the piss.
Season disrupted before it's really started The World Cup in summer was quite welcome and enjoyable. Pointless international games in the football season still aren't.

TL; DR: Everybody bar Eriksen. http://www.skysports.com/football/n...an-eriksen-calls-for-truce-in-denmark-dispute
I wish Harry Kane would have a ****ing rest. I don't know about what you people think but I feel as though he is lumbering a bit...not sharp enough for me.
Yes he got a groin strain in the three minutes he's played so far this season. Not an exaggeration by the way, I think he's only played three minutes. Jordan "range of passing but I don't take penalties in important shoot-outs" Henderson hasn't played much either.
Want list for this round : No Inger-Spurs bar the DOF to play more than one half. At worst only Toby to play for the Bel-Spurs. Son to be given cameo time as a sub only. Meanwhile, in the Spurs physios + Lamela + Wanyama we trust (the Watford game showed the squad needs them back pronto) .
He's not been 100% since the injury at Bournemouth, but I'm starting to suspect that tactics are screwing him, too. Both England and Spurs since the summer have decided to play a winger with him as some sort of strike pairing, so he's playing deeper. It's not getting the best out of him and he's not getting anywhere near the same number of chances.
