Problem with the new changing rooms today.....they are too available for disenchanted fans to vent their spline...and abuse the manager and players within ear shot all the time. You can hear every word said outside and that is extra pressure the players don't need.

Adams has had his say about it and felt it isn't fair....the players have tried their best and to get abused after they have left the pitch isn't necessary.

Well they need to play better then. Poor souls who only get paid in 4 figure sums tax paid. I worked for the local authority for 30 years and got no thanks for anything I did for anyone but heard plenty of abuse pointed at council workers. Goes with the territory.

We got what we deserved today which was nothing. There were a couple of points in the game which were unfair. The first one being a red card and not a yellow in the first couple of minutes. Probably got a yellow because of the timing which isn't a reason to down grade the offence. The second was their first goal was off side. About half to a full yard off side. The lino missed several of these decisions throught the half. We played for about 20 minutes in the first half even though it lasts for 45. They were far better than us. Passed, created space and bullied us off the ball many times. Far far stronger man for man. Was surprised at Wylde who actually had a reasonable game at full back. Not fantastic but did ok. We didn't have a MOM. We are in dire trouble no matter how Adams dresses it up and we are going to struggle like hell all season at this rate. League 2 beckons already. And that's being possitive.

I struggled to get up for the 7am game but like you Sensible i was there.
You and I plus some 8000 did our bit and thats all we can do.
Since the 70's i have watched them get promoted and demoted, so why do i get up at 7am?

My Dad would say "Owing to the wind and rain poor old Argyle lost again"

My Dad used to say that as well BC. Nothing changes does it.

I've just read the garbage spouted by Adams about the supposed abuse he and the players got. There is a simple solution to not having to hear it all again. Win a bleddy match Adams and maybe the fans will do the positivity thing and not swear at you. He has had a very easy time from Argyle fans and now he complains? Grow a pair laddie

Some encouragement....of our first ten games....six of them have been against the teams in....1st, 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 7th and 9th.

Our Tuesday night game is away at Barnsley....who are 4th.....add to that 10 injured players and maybe there might be some light soon at the end of the tunnel.

Pressure mounting on Derek Adams, staff and team.....now that the players and the coaching staff have to run the gauntlet of passing through the new exit to their new temporary dressing rooms....there are fans giving Adams and the team a lot of close up verbal abuse after 10 games without a win.

Gone are the safe environment of the Mayflower's fanless terracing that has protected the home and away dugout from close up verbal comments for years....a situation that has changed with the new positioning of the dressing rooms.

At least the dug-outs haven't changed due to the fact that there isn't enough room over the Lyndhurst side for them....but that hardly compensates for the closeness of fans to the exit to the temporary dressing rooms when they walk to and fro.

Now that James Brent isn't senior director anymore regarding being owner and Chairman....will the new powers that be have the steel to continue with Adams regime....in Adams favour is the fact that he has a long contract that PAFC probably couldn't pay up.

Having calmed down a little, firstly I'll support what Sensible said. Doncaster should have had a player sent off in the first 5 minutes for an utterly disgraceful tackle on Yann Songo'o. Easily a leg breaker. Also, their first goal was offside but I'd say by more than a yard. What's certain in my mind is that the lino wasn't up with play and couldn't see it. That's a recurring theme with the officials we get: just not of the required standard.

Doncaster should also have had Marquis sent off close to the end for throwing the ball over the fence into the construction site area to delay an Argyle throw in. A yellow just doesn't cover that sort of cheating.

Throughout the game Doncaster displayed abnormal gamesmanship and violence. Argyle didn't, in fact at times, the way they allowed Doncaster to take quick free kicks was completely naive. There's a line I wouldn't want my team to cross and Doncaster are well beyond it but at times yesterday, we looked like Corinthians up against a Panzer regiment.

Lastly, if any team in any one game in any league score two better goals this season than we did yesterday, I'll eat my hat. Nul points though.

The game ebbed and flowed but there was a pattern. The first 15 minutes were very scrappy and then Doncaster scored their offside first, at which point they sat back on the lead, We blossomed and the equaliser was well deserved. The team were applauded off at half time for a good fight back.

After the break, Doncaster went onto the front foot and pressed much higher up the pitch rather than being content to defend in their final third. We couldn't cope with that and hardly strung two passes together for 35 minutes. Two things happened almost simultaneously. Alex Fletcher came on as a 2nd striker and Doncaster scored their 3rd and again sat back. Immediately we looked better although by then it was too late to get what would have been a draw we wouldn't have deserved over the 90 minutes as a whole.

I've seen 2 games so far, Wycombe and Doncaster. Both played with two (yes two) mobile and hard running strikers playing right across the width of the pitch. We struggled to contain both pairs. Yesterday, Ladapo hardly got a meaningful touch up there on his own. You might as well play an art historian as a second striker instead of Lameiras. Classy but ultimately pointless. When they pressed us high up the pitch, we couldn't get out whereas they always had someone to find with a pass.

Added to that, Macey's kicking is dreadful. I hate to harp back to Luke McCormick but his kicks were low and fast as well as accurate. Macey's go so high to achieve the distance that the opposing CB's have enough time for a quick chat before moving to defend. It makes Ladapo's role even more impossible.

I think our tactics have been rumbled and we need a change.

    Macey (no choice)

    RB - God knows
    Edwards
Grant (no choice, but did OK as an individual. We looked weak on the left but Grant and Wylde is an entirely new partnership)
LB - ditto to RB in the absence of Sawyer

    Joel Grant
Songo'o (my MoM yesterday, he's suddenly discovered how to pass the ball)
    Fox
Carey (on the left, doesn't need to cut in on 2 strikers)

    Ladapo
Fletcher (has bulked up from the skinny teenager look and looked lively when he came on)

My son reckoned the offside decision was a very close call and wasn't sure. On balance he decided he was onside. I have argued and argued with him since and today he sent me a photo from some site or other showing the pass that led to the goal. The line in the grass clearly shows he was actually onside as much as I hate to admit it. The player playing him on was on the other side of the goal mouth and was Grant. Damn blast it.

You are right though notdistant, we have been found out and other Managers have been doing their homework. I also agree with the Macey kicking point. He is probably the worst I've seen given his pedigree. He will never get into a premiership team unless he sorts that out. I feel dreadfully sorry for Lapado. The poor bloke runs his socks off every game and the service he gets generally is so poor it isn't worthy of the name. I think he would do well if given the right ball to chase. 100 foot in the air with snow coming off it is not his game at all.

Macy needs to learn to drop kick the ball....the trajectory would keep the ball lower.

McCormick used to make contact with the ball to his side, not in front of him. That way, his foot moved more or less horizontally through it rather than in an upward arc.

Surely Macy is getting help with his kicking....he's a big enough fellow to have a better kick.
