****ing Xmas ads. So we can't beat em ,may aswell join them. Who's planning what, and are you such a sad ****, that you've already started?
Meh. Halloween's over, we're nearly past Bonfire Night. It's okay, not too early. There's a garden centre near me puts their decos up in October every year. That's too early. Good display, mind. I like the lights anyway. Cheers up the dark winter nights.
Hello Matth, bonfire next was 4 nights ago. And it’s nice to know you like the lights in your garden centre, did you help put them up?
No idea, the mrs does it all. When other people are opening their presents it's as much as a surprise to me as it is to them. I only have to buy one present but that's usually hit and miss, and I'm not talking about the quality
Never bother doing any shopping until Xmas Eve, just have to buy something for my Mrs which usually ends up with me giving her money or vouchers for Selfridges, after spending an entire day getting angry at people and paying £24 for the car park that takes me 3 hours to get out of. The voucher option usually means I get dragged into town on Boxing Day, but I’m off to get smashed and watch the match this year so she can go with her mum instead.
Xmas used to be the worst day of the year. Always got made to go to my Mum's where she would put on this really formal meal despite having a really small family. Even when I was a kid I hated it by the age of about 7, the presents the obvious exception but still didn't make up for the bullshit for the rest of the day. Now though she has given up on that **** and always goes away somewhere with my dad for a few days over Xmas so she doesn't have to do anything, which means I can do whatever the **** I want on the day. Usually involves sitting around being the laziest **** alive for the day, is amazing.
Yeah but she gets it all, I don’t get involved. My little girl only likes climbing and animals so **** knows what she’ll get, probably a set of steps and a giraffe.
Yeah, she realised that once her parents had died there wasn't much point in going all elaborate for Xmas as both me and my dad aren't bothered at all and just moan about it, so go some hotel somewhere and get it all done for you was a no brainer.
