Haven't seen all the acts this year but will start watching from now on. From what I have seen I don't think anyone should be as short as 3/1 and some of the other favourites aren't much cop. Seems pretty open at present but, as usual, some progress in leaps and bounds whereas some make no progress at all. The one that interests me at 66/1 is Cezar Ouatu

Once the crazy 6 bar challenge is over we will get a much better idea at the judges houses

I think I'll start my portfolio with 1 point on Cezar Ouatu at 66/1. Will probably go out at the 6 bar challenge (and therefore not make it to the judges house). But if he doesn't, those odds will at least half. Worth a risk at those odds

Nearly survived the 6 bar challenge and, based on what is left, I think he should have. Can't get excited about any of these so far and certainly wouldn't back Shan at those odds (7/2). Still more to see before the judges houses stage. I'll wait till then to see if there are any decent bets on. There are several in it that are simply average and could safely be laid. With some bookies offering 2 to 3 times the odds of other bookies, it says it all really - pretty crap. Hopefully someone will emerge, with proper coaching

Well after seeing a couple of live shows there just looks to be 3 in it really and the bookies look to have it right

For an interest I think I would go for the top 3 in the betting (net profit if one wins in brackets)
80 points Dalton at 7/4 with one bookie (84.50)
    20 points Misunderstood at 9/1 (64.50)
    35 points Shan (saver) at 3/1 (4.50)

    135 points staked

Anthony Russell is best price 11/1 and as low as 7/1. No chance and a confident lay bet

Can't see Aailyaha and Acacia winning but just possible they could scrape into the final 3 but can't see their odds for this

Started watching the results tonight but switched off in disgust so no idea who went home from the sing off, or even who was in it.

A usual, some acts get better and better, some make no progress at all. I'm afraid Misunderstood was one of the latter. When they were singing their originals, I thought they were half decent but, the last 2 weeks they have been disappointing. I had them in the bottom 3 after last night but no way did I expect them to get the lowest votes with Danny Whatsisname and Anthony Russell still there. I switched off as soon as those 2 were declared safe. ****ing joke.

Dalton is now in a different league. Bella has surprised me and getting better now she is singing (rather than rapping). Shan is as good as when she started and is no superstar. Giovani is still a West End performer and very entertaining but not an X Factor winner. Scarlet does nothing wrong, has a good voice but I can't see her winning. Who else is there? There's one with a very nice girl's voice; can't see him winning. The 2 young girls; can't see them winning. I've probably forgotten someone - they must be good

From what I've seen, Dalton should be odds on. If he isn't, he has to be topped up

Suppose I better see who got chucked out tonight

Checked the odds. Dalton is odds on and rightly so. Can't back at odds on so will leave.

    Current best odds
    Dalton Harris 8/11
    Scarlet Lee 5/1
    Shan 5/1
    Anthony Russell 7/1
    AA 16/1
    Bella Penfold 28/1
    Brendan Murray 40/1
    Danny Tetley 50/1

If I were taking bets my odds would be
    Dalton Harris 2/7
    Shan 5/1
    Bella Penfold 6/1
    Scarlet Lee 10/1
    AA 10/1
    Brendan Murray 40/1
    Anthony Russell 100/1
    Danny Tetley 100/1

What a farcical affair. Shan and Bella out whilst Danny and Anthony still in FFS. I still give those two no more that a 100/1 chance. Dalton is in a different league to this lot BUT he was very disappointing this week. As I said at the beginning, this is a pretty crap year. Surely the votes are being rigged If Danny and Anthony are in the top 6 of the talent today, I give up. NO, I think I will consider taking part <doh>

    Current best odds
    Dalton Harris 1/4
    Scarlet Lee 7/1
    Anthony Russell 18/1
    AA 33/1

If I were taking bets now my odds would be
    Dalton Harris 1/20
    Scarlet Lee 2/1
    AA 10/1
    Anthony Russell 100/1

After last week's disappointing performance from Dalton (wrong song) last night he was awesome again. Only one in it. Scarlet has a good voice but hasn't got the X Factor. AA have come on leaps and bounds and as said earlier could sneak into the final 3. Anthony is embarrassing and I have no idea why or how he is still there. He tries hard but FFS he is no a contender by any stretch of the imagination

Well that was easy. Like shelling peas. Anthony at 7/1 was a joke and the lay bet of the century (hence my odds offered at 100/1) Dalton was a cert, as my odds of 1/20 showed and was therefore the bet of the century at 1/4. Although I would never back a 1/4 shot personally.

All in all a very disappointing and boring year. Sincerely hope it is better next year. And hopefully Robbie Williams' wife won't be on the panel. Pain in the arse

Just in case anyone is bothering to look at this thread
