Right then gentleman and any ladies that may be reading this. This is my 10000th post which plymborn reminded me of the other day. In way of celebration I have opened the lounge bar and made it a VIP area. The bar is an open bar and there are even crisps and nuts in bowls (that's how posh it is). For notdistant there is even a shrimp paste sandwich. I couldn't quite run to prawns on my income but it is with good intentions. Honestly. Step in and step up to the bar peoples.

Nothing wrong with an alcoholic drink at any time of the day. Wine in the morning, wine with lunch and wine with evening meal. Lovely jubbly.

Sorry for delayed reply. My computer was playing up and was on the slowest go slow and giving me all kinds of messages I have ever seen. Whatever happened overnight I have no idea because it seems to be fine today. Bit like me I suppose. Parts work at times but it is a bit hit or miss.

Anyway, white is the answer BC. I have never liked red and don't lile stuff like sherry or port. It's the overpowering taste I think. Look forward to the visit.

I arely drank it plym. You had to be 21 to draw a tot and it went out in June 1970. My 21st birthday was onboard a ship at sea in April that very year. I got rather under the weather at lunchtime that day having drunk something like 2 pints of the stuff along with half a dozen neat tots from the Senior Rates mess. I was sober at 12 noon, pee'd senseless by 1pm and woke up around 7pm that evening wondering what the feck had happened. It kind of put me off to be honest. No wonder they got rid of the tot.

Have you noticed that the Pilgrimage Bar is coming near a 100,000 posts in the near future.....so sensible.... sought out that celler .....and a fresh lick of paint wouldn't do the place any harm.....make sure that you use the right shade of green please.

It's closing in on 100.000 views not posts plym. Still, the old place could probably do with a lick of paint.
