    And we expect right......

The Sunday paper reports that there is no support for May's proposed agreement in the Cabinet with several Ministers from both Remain and Leave camps on the point of resignation. This includes Dominic Raab, the man in charge of the negotiations. There is no support in Parliament either. The priority for many is now to avoid association with the delivery of Brexit and the inevitable judgement of history when it all goes horribly wrong. In other words, the Blame Game.

The EU have insisted any backstop arrangement must be adjudicated rather by the ECJ which kills it stone dead from that side too.

Preparations for a catastrophic No Deal exit must begin in November if no alternative is available. Airline bookings for next year are already well down as travellers realise that there will be no compensation for flights cancelled due a force majeure collapse of open skies agreements. Stock up on food and water now.

Theresa May...a remainer by heart has cocooned herself in to a make belief world that she can get a deal....the only deal she could come back with would be being shackled to the EU for years.
Her actions have made a no deal more possible.....she should have stood aside, so that others with their hearts in the Brexit requirements could have solidly pushed our case for a fair deal....first Cameron runs away from his responsibilities and now a delusional May leaves us in a no deal scenario.

999 SERVICE WARNED USING 'SIR' COULD OFFEND TRANSGENDER CALLERS.

Emergency call handlers could be told to stop referring to people as sir and madam in a drive to be more inclusive, it has emerged.

The London Ambulance Service is considering whether to introduce a new policy on the way callers are addressed, after transgender campaigners suggested the current system was outdated and could cause offence.

The issue was raised at a conference of ambulance services organized by LGBT campaigners.

Jules Lockett, the head of emergency operations centre training at London Ambulance Service, and joint head of its LGBT network, told the conference that call handling staff were being "steered away" from referring to people by Mr or Mrs.

She said using words like sir or madam was "old-fashioned" and the service was now looking how to change that and "give some different words to use".

The Gender Identification Research & Education Society states that having a policy in place is particularly important for 999 call handlers, because they may have to deal with people reporting transphobic attacks. The advice goes on : "Inappropriate pronouns do cause stress, and may make an already difficult situation worse."

    Daily Telegraph...19/11/2018.

My thoughts.....If I'm laying in the road after an accident and someone is dialling 999 for an ambulance....I wouldn't care two hoots how the emergency call handler addressed the caller or me laying in the road....just get an ambulance to me quickly please....end of subject.

I would think that it is ok for a transgender patient laying in the road to refuse help from ambulance staff who called them ...sir or madam... or how are you feel dear or mate.....bleeding to death in the road has no rights or wrongs...believe it or not it will still happen without referring it to "political correctness rights or wrongs".

Being PC in this day an age seems to be more important than life or death.......urrrggg.

Around here we've been subjected to some horrendous road work situations in the last three months....but this morning a new road works capped the lot.

Just above our mainline station with routes directly into Victoria, Charing Cross, London Bridge, Waterloo and Fenchurch Street, and of course the South East coast, with trains passing through every few minutes....we had traffic lights set up for a single lane section of about 50 yards....amazingly in the middle of these lights was a major bus stop, which is always busy by those coming out the Station always with 50/100 people waiting.....and with about 5 different bus routes using it, so any bus stopping just blocked the road , which ever way the lights were showing go for....next to total grid-lock occuring.....and the road-workers just carried on oblivious to the chaos they had caused.....I can only assume London Transport haven't been involved in the set-up of these road works and the closing down of this major Bus stop during the work.

When your local council were in charge of doing such work I for the life of me cannot remember such chaos.....we have known situations of work finishing and no one coming along who were responsible to remove the lights.....up to two days once.....and on one occasion car drivers have moved it all and thrown it all into the kerb.

It certainly looks like a mad mad world that we're living in......and Brexit isn't responsible for any of it.

The International police organization Interpol is electing a new boss tomorrow.....the favourite seems to be Alexander Prokopchuk a Russian who is a buddy of guess who ?......right in one Vladimir Putin.

The general opinion is that the fox will be allowed into the chicken run.

With Russia chasing down its enemies worldwide and killing them, can you think of a better system than Interpol being run by the Russian State.

    Yes.....its a mad, mad world.

Well we can rule out interference in the election by Russians.

Not too reassuring is it? The last Interpol leader disappeared in China amid allegations of bribery and this Russian was opposed because Russia is accused of using bogus Interpol warrants to silence its critics.

A South Korean seems an improvement on either if those.... until we find out he's been nobbled by the North.

Vigilantes have been forced to patrol a northern town in a bid to prevent crime due to a shortage of police officers. Residents in Hartlepool, County Durham, said they had taken the action following police cuts which had meant they were left with no choice but to "protect what's ours".

Cleveland police had only ten officers working the night shift on a recent Saturday. After the local custody suite was shut down officers were forced to make an hour-long round trip to Middlesbrough, at one point leaving no police officers in the town. The custodial suite in Hartlepool is often unmanned at night and is due to be mouthballed as a cost-cutting measure.

Since 2010 Cleveland is estimated to have lost 30% of its warranted officers, declining from 1,724 to 1,211.

Adrian Roberts, Cleveland's Asst Chief Constable, said more money was being put into the Middlesbrough suite. "We feel this can be managed appropriately against our demand, while providing the best service we can to the public," he said.

Local Taxi driver Stephen Picton, 47, said a group of five men, while tgey do not consider themselves vigilantes, will spend time driving or walking around the area on patrol. "Sometimes I finish my shift at 2am and spend an extra two hours driving or walking around. I would rather be in bed fast asleep," he said.

Hartlepool mayor Allan Barclay said: " Criminals are happy because they know they can get away with it, Policing is non-existent for low-level crime".

    Daily Telegraph....21/11/2018.

My thoughts.....Why can't they call a nick a nick and not a custodial suite..... Will the local council be giving residents a refund for those times when they have no police force in their area.......I bet this wouldn't happen in a more affluent area of the country......Hartlepool is known as a very deprived area with low employment levels.

Not long ago Donald Trump took personal credit for booming US stock markets. I don't see him out there now taking the blame for the current tech crash.

I'm looking forward to him visiting Plymouth to celebrate the Pilgrim Father's departure to the New World. They bravely set off to flee violence and political oppression in their own country and set up home in a new country already occupied by another race. Their battle to survive made them in turn resort to violence against the locals and the theft of land and resources that had been in the hands of others for generations.

In many ways, their story echoes the modern struggle of South Americans to find a new life in the USA.

No, wait, Mr President, come back.......

Also we bared their plains of millions of buffalo that were slaughtered for their skins etc.....the Indigenous Americans were robbed of their livelihood and turned into the bad Red Indians.....who as kids we would hunt down as cowboys in our childhood games to open up the west to be the new frontier of discovery.

But we were generous to the Indigenous Americans.....we let a few live on, enclosed in settlements and who turn into drunken drug addicts living on hand-outs.

PS.....there is on the internet a picture of a massive mountain of buffalo skulls with a cowpoke type sitting on top....you've probably come across it....in hindsight didn't we realize what we were doing.....yet Americans in their millions over the years have flocked to see and touch the Pilgrim Fathers so called landing spot and the "Plymouth Rock" piece of granite....which split into two pieces and they had to cement it back together again....10 tonnes of nostalgic Crap.

It's time to reconsider the structure of policing in the UK. I can't see that so called "local democracy" gives us any influence over the way police operate any more than it does over the NHS through the local heath authorities and commissioning groups. All we end up with are post code lotteries and inefficiency.

I read an article saying just this in the context of the botched investigation into the deceased Edward Heath and other fiascos, bemoaning both the low calibre or police recruits and the incestuous management structure which allows promotion by seniority rather than aptitude. Did you know that the investigation into the senior officer who took the Heath investigation to such ludicrous lengths failed in part because he claimed to have destroyed his own mobile phone by striking it with a golf club while it was in his golf bag, thus destroying the record of his part in the process? He's now been appointed to a role overseeing the effectiveness of other police forces across the land.

The article called for national central management of the police at lower overall cost by eliminating duplication and with all graduate entry into the higher ranks. I won't happen but I agree with it.

I've just heard Naga Munchetty from BBC Breakfast report that the latest Mars probe had to slow down from 6 times the speed of light to a walking pace in order to land safely.

    Einstein debunked in one moment.
