Morning everyone....I see Home Park is shrouded in mist this Christmas morning....here in NW Kent it is very cold with a covering of very white frost on Lawns and cars as I look out on a peaceful bright morning with a hint of sun appearing.

Have a peaceful day and relax and enjoy it (if possible).

I've had a very pleasant day at No.1 son's house with him, his good lady and 3 daughters. A couple of beers and a bottle of the finest plonk. Back home now obviously if I'm typing this and have just cracked open another one. Well it's Chirstmas after all. Hope everyone has enjoyed their day and has recieved all they would wish for. When you get to a certain age then gifts don't mean as much as the enjoyment of the youngers ones. For once there wasn't even one squable at his house. I locked the missus in the shed when we got there.

Had a 2pm Christmas dinner appointment at my sons with daughters family there as well...plus daughter-in-laws mum....so ten of us around the table.

Then at roughly 6pm all around my daughters for prezzies and a buffet tea for anyone who felt peckish...and home by 11pm .....and then Mrs Plym and yours truly sat down and relaxed a bit and watched a recording of Call the Midwife then slid into bed by 1am.

PS....had a problem accepting that foul mouthed Miriam Margoyles as a Nun....hard to visualize to be honest.

It's that time of year again....I know you've all been waiting for this years Christmas cracker jokes....I know you all enjoyed them last year....so here goes.

1.....Where does Tarzan buy his clothes from ?..........a jungle sale.

2.....What do snowmen eat for lunch ?..........Icebergers.

3.....Why didn't the skeleton go to the New Years Party ?..........He had no body to go with.

4.....What does a frog do when his car breaks down ?..........He gets it toad away.

    5.....What do you call a fly without wings..........Walk !.

6.....Who is never hungry at Christmas ?..........The Turkey--he's always stuffed.

Congratulations....to those of you who lasted out for all 6 jokes....enjoy your Boxing Day...........we're contemplating a long walk to rustle up an appetite for dinner tonight.

Merry Christmas all of you, bit late but the cook is always busy at this time of year!

Managed to fall asleep though the middle of the Agatha Christie last night due to the log fire and possibly a small contribution from starting the day with Bucks Fizz with the pressies and going in in the same vein. Surprisingly fit this morning. Never work out mystery murders as my better half insists on calling them, so nothing lost.
