No match day thread been posted again, so here goes...............

Comments in the media this past week that should Huddersfield lose this one (and therefore obviously we win it) they are as good as down.

They'd be 11 points behind us, and dependent upon other results could be cut adrift with too much to do.

    Any thoughts on that?

Have to say that I tend to agree. It would take a mammoth effort to claw that kind of deficit back and overhaul not just us but 2 others.

Their run of fixtures after us is tough.

Shame really as they achieved what we are hoping to and so I see our clubs as kindred spirits in some ways.

They really need 3 points today so could be ripe for us hitting them on the counter.
We just need to not give them any hope in the first 20 mins or so!!!

I also did a bit of scouting last weekend and watched them play the Wurzles in the cup. They looked neat in places but were bereft of confidence in front of goal and only really created 2 or 3 chances against a Wurzle team that weren't exactly firing on all cylinders either (though I must add were worthy winners on the day).

Just hope Neil has our lot fired up enough to cope with a fast start from them as I see them going for broke today.

The Udders could be like a wounded animal and determined to make a go of it. If we are complacent they could quite easily turn us over. Home advantage for us on this one should see us get the 3 points.

Ive no doubt they will look the better side today but its about taking chances and we are slight favourites.

I hope its a positive line up.

I really dont want to see pato on the wing today. Lets have some pace there today.

Hoillet easily the better footballer or NML for pace. Id go NML he can turn defence into attack quickly. Josh the othet side. Pato up top. Camarasa and Arter. Hes going to.pick Gunner. Id play Reid.

Bennett is a must at left back

If we don't win today, I think we will struggle to stay up. I don't like calling games a must win, but we really really need to take 3 points from this one. That table will get awfully squeaky without a win.

    Seen teams. Today's 50 quid.
    £20 @ 23/20 on City win
    £10 @13/5 on City HT/FT
    £8 @7/2 on Camarasa scoring
    £8 @ 9/2 on NML scoring
    £4 @ 18/1 on Bennett scoring - I had to use up that last 4 quid <laugh>

Well....That was one of the worst league 1 games I have watched. Extremely lucky we got a draw. Signings needed. Need some depth if nothing else.

Can't agree with that - we can perm any of those as many times as you like and we may get it right by Easter - if we're lucky.

That was a dreadful game - absolutely shocking standard of football for this League. We wouldn't have score if we'd played all night.

We need something different and we're not going to get it just relying on what we've got.

Any other side in this division would have blown us away today. Thank God it was Huddersfield or our goal difference would have been demolished even further.

    How bad were City today?

Devoid of ideas. Haven’t a clue what NWs plan was? Reid & Murphy wouldn’t have done any worse.

Healy so unlucky not to get to that ball. But what message is that to Reid?

Our defence again looked shaky. Fortunately for all their possession Huddersfield created little.

Looked a stonewall pen on Hoilett.

Lino got their pen reversal spot on.

2 points dropped. Fair chance we’ll be watching these 2 teams next season given Southamptons upward form.

They lost or drew against a couple teams against us and lost to the saints today, so no, they're not, or didn't today.
