what a dumb move. To be fair, he's spent a lot of money but you look at the players in huddersfield and theres not much there. Plus he performed miracles to get them up in the first place.

They were always likely to go down and they should have let him bring them back up.

If that's true then **** Huddersfield. The guy brought them up, they should be backing him not sacking him.

    Disgraceful

Yeah he's done well with Hudds. There was always going to be a period where they struggled in the prem. Not really sure who they think they can get who will do a better job tbh.

apparantly, Wagner walked to recharge. Not sacked by huddersfield.

Now if big Sam can keep this mob up it would show how great of a manager he is and how Everton should have kept him

They generally play good football and give a good account of themselves, but completely lack an end product.
I'd have thought that a striker or two in the window would be the first thing that their new manager will be looking for.
Eight points is a massive gap already, though. It'll be tough to keep them up.

Defo Big Sam territory this one <laugh>

Not sure he’s that daft though, as Huddersfield are in their current predicament primarily due to not investing enough on the pitch last summer. The Chairman has been too pragmatic and they’re paying the price. Unless they’re going to spend some decent money this window trying to solve their lack of goals, then they’re doomed whoever comes in, including Fat Sam.

Yeah I can't see him fancying it tbh, 8 points with that squad and they are as good as gone without big investment.

Yeah, they’re going to need at least 23/24 points from 16 games, when they’ve managed 11 from 22.

Not happening, stupid sacking (if true, as there’s rumours he said he’d had enough).

not sure they have been that pragmatic. They've always had a low base but at the end of the day they've spent 70m net over 2 seasons. They should be doing a bit better, still relegation candidates but not rock bottom. Compared to Cardiff or newcastle who have spent even less

And their income increased by well over £100m a season mate.

They were extremely fortunate to stay up last season given their lack of goals and they didn’t do enough to correct that.

Yup they could have done more. I guess they were being conservative in case they went back down. Still though, 70m is hardly chump change
