Here we go again with the manager and team for some reason Argyle fans love to hate. The only thing I remember is a game a few seasons ago when they did everything they could to end the game without actually playing football. They lay on the floor as many times as they could get away with it and took as long as possible to throw or kick a ball back into play. It was considered that Ainsworth was somewhere lower than the dark master and we should hate them forever more. Given it was a few years back now I think it's time to put that one to bed. So, what are our chances in this one then? Form wise we have nothing to fear from any team in league one given our impressive start to 2019. They also have won their last 2 games so are in some kind of form. This is another "could go either way" game and it is hard to call which way it would go. The more recent results between the two have been draws. You would have to say that it is likely this one could go the same way. But we are hopeful if nothing else at the moment so I have to say we can win this one rather than we should win it. Not got the same foreboding I had a while back so gedddon bheys lets have another one. COYG
Not travelling for a change so a rare weekend off. Would love to come back with a win but a point will be just fine.
Agree with that lyndie. But, you know what people are like down here. Anything other than 3 points and they will be having a pop at everything again. I'm still not happy with Adams even though we are moving in the right direction now. Still think he is pig headed and blames others but you have to give some credit to him and a lot to the players for the about turn.
I see he's spoken about the need to arrange a better pre-season schedule next year. He wants games at home and some Chamionshio or PL opposition if possible. Interesting remarks given the very poor starts we've had in 2 successive years. Sent from my mobile phone - E&OE
Lots of comments about pre-season last year....one league team played Yeovil (D2) and blown away with 5 let in....I thought that playing non-league just gave us a false perspective of were we were....and with so many new players to bed in.
Getting towards the end of the half now and we have not even had a shot anywhere. Bit worrying isn't it.
Half time and it's still 1 - 0. Lameiras hit the bar apparently. They need to pick this up in the second half if they are going to get anything. Not looking likely.
Poor show today....back to their old ways? Afinkenwa had to score.....lol. Think they were still playing that Wimbledon game.
Songo'o is being credited for an own goal in some places....although the BBC have given it to Akinfenwa.
9 minutes of injury time or was it 9 minutes of Wycombe time wasting......we're not keen on going there....always the same and we fall for it everytime.
Not a good game to get up early for. Both teams were poor. a draw would have been a good result but not to be.
