Having got not a dicky bird reaction from anyone about the Malmo game, here's my very last effort ( I promise you will not see me again) to get a reaction from this dead as a dodo board.
Who should stay and who should go at seasons end, if Sarri makes it that far.
    Kepa Stay
    Azpilicueta Go
Luiz Go back to France and enjoy life again. Chelsea is no fun anymore for a funster and a creative
    player like you.
    Rudiger Stay
    Alonso Go
    Christensen Stay
Kante Go You're too good for the dopes who run this Club.
Barkley Go, please go, go ,go. There are plenty of 2nd division clubs you can go to.
Jorghino Go, You need more depth of character, to be stronger physically, and show more guts to make
    it in the PL
    RLC Stay
    Ampadu Stay
    Drinkwater Go
    Zappacosta Go
    Emerson Go
Hazard Go And good luck. Take the money Chelsea , it gets less week by week and RM have made
no offers.Hazard .Might not be a RM target anymore, in which case lower his obscene wages
    Giroud Go with thanks

Like to see any opinions, and it's good bye from me on this site.

Realistically Sarri will go in the next few months. The club won't bank roll changing most of the first team squad. He obviously can't get them to play his way, and that's assuming his way will even work week in week out in the premier league.

To that end, 1 of Willian and Hazard has to stay. Ideally both but unlikely. With Pulisic coming in and us trying to keep CHO, that means Pedro will probably move on. Higuain will stay and Giroud will probably leave so we'll need a back up striker.

If Hazard does go to Madrid we should insist on Isco in return.

I'm generally happy with the keepers and defenders save for we need a leader in that back 4 (and Kante in DM). To my mind that's either taking a punt on Ampadu or buying someone like Koulibaly. He will replace departing Cahill and probably Luiz in the squad.

    Kante must stay.

Jorginho I would give time. He could be a top player if played in a role more suited to his ability.

Keep one of Barkley or Kovacic as squad but not first teamers. RLC happy to keep but he really needs to show more when given a chance.

    Kepa
    Dave Rudiger Koulibaly Alonso
    Kante Jorginho
    CHO Isco Willian/Hazard
    Higuain

Looks pretty decent to me. I also really rate Danny Rose who has fallen slightly out of favour at Spurs but can't see them selling to us.

No to koubibaly. Thats another 70m on a player and rose is on the wrong side of 20s and will cost a fortune.

Might as well keep emerson in

Think we need to get our long term players up to speed.

    Kepa

    Dave rudiger christensen emerson
    Kante Ampadu/kovacic
    Hudson. Hazard/rlc willian/pedro
    Higuain

We already have at least 3 if not 4 players as good as ,and potentially much better than those keeping them on the bench.
That would be, RLC, CHO, Ampadu and Christensen.
By selling the dross I identified, we should get close to 200 Mill.
That will get us 3 world class players, if we play our cards right. That's what we have missed for the last 4 years.
Then we could get in Diego Simione as manager, the man who rocks Spanish football on a shoestring budget, and identifies more great players before they become great than anyone else in European football.
If Hazard goes, which he will, add another 3 players.
    End of problem.
Once we had Lampard, Drogba, Duff, Joe Cole, De Sauxe, Gudjohnson, Hasselbaink, Flo, De Matteo, Poyet, all world class players of quality who affected games.
Those are the types we should be buying, players of character, not the Pulisics' who have done **** all and at 20 years old, are making their opinions public.
Time to get a grip and get in football people.
Sarri will never have a better 2 weeks to show his abilities than the next 2.
Step u Sarri ,or piss off.

Not sure i would class half of those players as world class <laugh>. And we never got close to a title challenge with half of them either.

As for spending 200m, but sure that will get us many wc players and it would just mean half of those you want played will be benched.

I say just chuck the kids in and transition for a season or 2

I'd be more for a chucking the kids in situation if we had more leaders around the team to assist that process. Other wise I fear we'd be the proverbial rabbit in the headlights.

When United brought through their youngsters famously in 95, their defence still consisted of Schmeichel, Pallister, Irwin and Bruce as well as Keane and Cantona in the side. Those kids had also played together through the youth set up. Ours rarely do as they are either brought in or loaned out constantly. Ampadu and Christensen aren't really Chelsea youngsters they are just player's we've bought young.

But I think there's practically no chance of Sarri trusting a bunch of kids because he likes players who are more tactically astute and young players rarely are.

Apparently that's one of the reasons RLC doesn't get more games. He's flummoxed by the tactics. Sarri has practically said as much regarding CHO as well.

Well we would by that time have had a clear out of the old guard mentality. In case anyone hasn't noticed we are already in transition <laugh>.

Whether we do that buying new players or create a new spine with our local kids is the question

If you brought in someone like Frank, said his only aims for the next season were to blood and test the youngsters and not be concerned with a top 4 finish, then I think a lot of fans would go for that for a year. Giving players like RLC 20 minutes here and there or games against championship level sides isn't enough.

They either need a fair crack or not.

Obviously you'd need to let a fair few players go and the team would still need some senior players like Kepa, Rudiger, Dave, Kante, Willian or Hazard and Higuain.

    Would be an interesting experiment....

Maybe not world class, but all had character and consistency. Been watching some old footage from Chelsea TV , and players like Flo and Gudjohnson scored some great goals, Jimmy was lethal, Poyet really classy and De Saux could actually cross the ball.
All of them were good in open play and knew where the goals were.

It's what we should have done ,but RA wants success now, not next year and to his credit, he has usually got it.
This batch of youngsters does look a cut above, but Sarri is killing them off one by one. Much as I wanted him to succeed, I am starting to think he might be the one who turns us into a mid table team, and drives players like Kante and Hazard out. Who in their right mind would want to sign for us other than for the salary??

Always sad to see people leave (except Stan). I understand people’s frustration but Sarri was bought here to play Sarri ball. He does trust the youth end of so it’s pointless banging on about them as it won’t happen.

“Our numbers are low”, I never heard or saw that at certain away games during the 70s and 80s.
