Super Clive is a legend indeed, but Killer is the all-time greatest of those offered in this poll I think.

Lyle Taylor has done well for two thirds of one season - but he has not even reached his AFC Wimbledon goal tally from last season yet, and he may not do so (well, not in terms of league goals anyway).
He's a good bloke and one of our best players without a doubt (though I think Chris Solly would be my POTY at the moment).

Well done Lyle for speaking out, venting natural frustration that must be simmering right through the dressing room at the moment.
    Duchatelet is a cnut.

Voted for Killer, but would have liked two votes, to vote for Super Clive as well.

Lee Bowyer had harsh words for Lyle Taylor after yesterday’s game. He wasn’t pleased with his comments and said he should have kept them to himself. You get the impression that tensions are simmering beneath the surface at the club. The stakes are huge now, particularly for the players, what with the laughable contracts situation. Taylor knows that he can speak with impunity as he won’t be at Charlton next season regardless.

More evidence that Lee Bowyer truly is Duchatelet's loyal lieutenant.

LB is prepared to allow Duchatelet to kill the promotion campaign that he (LB) has sweated blood over this season, but he won't tolerate one of his best players rocking the boat by actually expressing how pissed off the dressing room is about RD shafting them.

La la la, let's all pretend that there's nothing wrong at CAFC, even long after that lie has been utterly discredited.

    Allow <doh>

What should Bowyer have done about the Grant sale ?

He had Joe Mason lined up to come in, and Duchatelet blocked it at the last minute.

By 'allow' I meant accept it without protest.
Bowyer made a couple of dour sounding comments about it in an interview so I hear - the closest he has ever come to actually criticising his boss.

LB is behaving in a very professional manner from a corporate point of view. Duchatelet must be delighted he has found such an obedient employee.
But staying 'on message' seems to be more important to Bowyer than the wrecking of his promotion hopes, and surely Charlton's last ever chance to return to the Championship under this owner.

Bowyer made the position very clear on Joe Mason in the SLP. Kevin Gallen called him at 10pm on transfer deadline night to say the deal was off, as Duchatelet thought three strikers was sufficient.

It put the final flimsy nail in the Apologists (sorry @DickPlumb ) coffin - you still had craven cheese eaters like Canterbury Addick stating the Belgian scrote was a decent man FFs

Karl Robinson was typically hyperbolic about Lyle Taylor ....”wow” blah blah blah “best striker in this league” ....”can play in The Championship” blah blah.

I think there is a less than 10% chance of Taylor being with us next season if we are not promoted. Even if we are, it’s a long shot. Lyle is the summer black hole money.

Derek Killer Hales was a true legend, record goal scorer. Lyle Taylor has had a decent first season in League one.

Clive Mendonca is also a Charlton legend, for scoring a hat trick in the biggest pressure game imaginable. He then went on to score plenty of goals in top flight football.

Lyle Taylor has scored a dozen penalties in League One. He is a good player at this level but a section of our fan base needs to keep it real.

Killer and SuperClive are way out in front. Yann might have been up there if he'd been used better.
