Like vs Cardiff, we were by some distance the better team. You wonder what we could achieve without Rafa whingeing about money, berating his players, every Aug/Sep and Dec/Jan. No offence, he's a good manager and a great man, but some of the tepid early season efforts and parking of the bus don't help, we're quite clearly better than at least 7 or 8 other sides without even trying. 8-0 would have been fair. Poor finishing, outstanding goalkeeping (how he saved vs Kenedy is beyond me, save of the season) and the woodwork (x4) saved them from a hammering. But relegation is settled now with Hudds, Fulham and Cardiff heading down, so let's see what happens next.
I honestly think we are 3/4 players from being a very good mid-top half side. 2 full backs, another striker & a good experienced centre mid with a bit of bite to compliment Longstaff and we would be sorted.
