Having been limited to just 15 Premier League appearances this season because of injury and non-selection, the England international is desperate to face Jurgen Klopp’s side on Saturday. And speaking to theChronicleahead of the game, he’s admitted he regrets leaving Liverpool when he did. I probably shouldn’t have left Liverpool.

lose lose this weekend If we win I think City will blow Leicester away If we draw/lose City will blow Leicester away to win the league If we draw/lose City could relax and maybe drop points knowing it doesn't matter
City will, if we lose, have the trophy at the eithiad to be awarded to them in case of win. If we draw in theory it does to final day even if they win (3 point gap but gd massive) We must win, retake lead and put pressure on. Then in theory cup on final day would be on helicopter between Liverpool and Brighton but normally they wouldn't award it at away ground I'd like to think our team has enough at least deny city a home title win party. Let win and just hold heads up.
Liverpool should win easily , if Newcastle were full strength I might have given them a slight chance, but no lascelles, no longs staff, no Perez and no almiron means you're looking at 3 or 4 goals to zero.
It's all about pride. this is like eating an lgbt sandwich from m&s. ultimately pointless but we can all hold our heads that bit higher.
I don't know what's going through Brendan Rodger's mind, would like to know it. Love or hate Liverpool he has a job to do as a professional.Good luck Brendan.
Newcastle United vs Liverpool: An oversubscribed Press box, all tickets sold and eyes of the football world on St James' Park The Premier League title could essentially be won or lost at St James' Park this weekend
