Right then, last time this season. I refuse to be downhearted and predict a loss. I do not care about the points in the prediction league we have to at least start off believing something good. After 10 minutes that might be reviewed but at least it shows faith.

    Blackpool 3 - 1 Gillingham
    Bradford 2 - 1 Wimbledon
    Bristol Rovers 1 - 2 Barnsley (joker)
    Charlton 3 - 1 Rochdale
    Doncaster 2 - 2 Coventry
    Luton 2 - 0 Oxford (joker)
    Peterborough 2 - 1 Burton
    Plymouth 3 - 1 Scunthorpe (19 mins)
    Portsmouth 3 - 0 Accrington
    Shrewsbury 2 - 0 Walsall
    Southend 1 - 3 Sunderland
    Wycombe 2 - 1 Fleetwood

Well, I've forecasted this on the data I usually use without allowing sentiment to interfere. Gods of Football therefore please note I'm not expressing an opinion for which you might punish me, it's just a mechanical process.

The questions are, how at it will Sunderland and similarly Shrewsbury be with nothing to play for but pride? Could Bradford, already knowing their fate, overcome Wimbledon's nerves to the tune of 2 or 3 goals?

    I shudder to think.

    Blackpool 2 - 2 Gillingham
    Bradford City 0 - 1 AFC Wimbledon
    Bristol Rovers 1 - 2 Barnsley
    Charlton Athletic 2 - 0 Rochdale ( Joker 1 )
    Doncaster Rovers 2 - 2 Coventry City
    Luton Town 1 - 1 Oxford United
    Peterborough United 1 - 1 Burton Albion
    Plymouth Argyle 2 - 0 Scunthorpe United ( 26 mins )
    Portsmouth 2 - 0 Accrington Stanley
    Shrewsbury Town 1 - 0 Walsall
    Southend United 0 - 2 Sunderland ( Joker 2 )
    Wycombe Wanderers 0 - 1 Fleetwood Town

Morning, well gutted today . We have to move on and forward, get the right people in and try and bounce back. Given the disgraceful ness of scum thorpe , they also went as well.

Last results for this season, back to league 2 for predictions next year.

Top again was Bc with 26 and goal time, next was Plym 24, Lyndy 22, me 14, sensible 12, not distant 6.

    Hope these are correct.

We also have the 100 points for closest finish, should reversed them and we may be closer..

Saffy was close but since he had pulled out early on Not distant was next with 9th so he gets the points.

So well another season gone, thanks for taking part see you next season :emoticon-0150-hands

Final table: BC is this seasons winner with Lyndy getting the Pasty.

    Well done BC <party>:emoticon-0167-beer:

    BC 719
    Distant 694
    Plym 682
    Sensible 565
    Joe 529
    Lyndy 476

Well done BC for overall winner and to notDistant for end of season position.

What the chart shows us is....that you've got to win one of our two bonus cut-off points to have any chance of winning the title.

So I feel pleased to get third spot from only match predictions alone.

    Roll on next prediction season.

Yes, I worked out that we'd start really well with all the great new players we'd brought in but that the big spenders would be stronger after Christmas. The usual injuries and suspensions would see us slide away in the 2nd half of the season.

That was a lot of bollocks wasn't it!

Does this mean lyndie gets relegated?

Congratulations to AWAYINBC for his fine form over the season and a huge thank you to Joe for putting in the effort of running the show. It's only a bit of fun I know but I've put out a contract to have BC's bears shot before next season starts and notdistant might just have his phone nicked................

Thanks you Joe for all your work you put in.

My friendly Bear was indeed your very own Paddingdon Bear.
Now for the fun stuff of sorting out for next season.
So be it in Div.2 I for one will still be getting up at 7am.
Keep me informed on the off season happenings
    Thanks.

I hope that you are all reassured that my professional day job doesn't require me to advise the manager (whomever it may be) on the relative merits (or predictions) on the other teams in the league!

Thank goodness for that....I don't want to be watching Argyle in 2020/21 season at my local club Bromley....assuming the Lillywhites/Ravens don't get promoted next season to Div 2.
