... and it's our game to lose.

We have players, like Ozturk & Wyke, coming into form, Maguire & Watmore back from injury and a real belief running through the club.

We need to erase all thoughts of negativity, get down to London and support our club.

Haway, the players are giving everything they have no matter how limited ...

    ... now it's our turn!

After getting thru to the final I wasnt arsed who we played.

If McGeady is fit what a bonus that would be. Even just putting him on the bench more or less stating "we dont need him" would play mind games with the opposition methinks.

It’s a nice thought but if he’s fit he has to play.

I agree it’s ours to lose. There’s a togetherness showing that seemed a bit fragmented after Wembley to seasons end, there was real bite in the lads in both legs, fight, pride, determination. It’s only really now looking back over the 2 legs you really realise how big having to clean sheets was.

Just seen a video of Grant on the pitch alone after game and Catts walking in to console him, it’s heartwarming, and it brings a real view of the closeness in the group that we’ve lacked for many a year.

Catts has stepped up and he needs to be returned the captains armband. No issue with George but Catts is a born leader. He may lack a little bit here and there as a player but he’s a proper captain. Bally has his limits but you’d have gone to war confident with him by your side.

We are the better side if Jack gets it right, which he did in the semis.

Charlton are the form team but they were awful last night.
when Donny got at them their arses fell out and it was only the goalkeeping error that got them through
as has been said those two clean sheets against Pompey are just what the doctor ordered for our defensive confidence.
Get hold of the midfield on Sunday and the match is ours no ifs or buts. Come on lads you can do it.

Attack Charlton and they fold. Sit back and they'll piss on us. I hope JR has plotted his strategy as well as he did for Pompey!

It’s just occurred to me that the Charlton match ended 4-4 with their opponents missing their penalty as SAFC did in that famous play-off. So it would appear that Charlton have used up their share just getting to Wembley already. so cooooooooome ooooooooon Sunlun.
But back to reality - we have the squad to take this, we really do, but as we all know it’s who settles the best/quickest without letting the occassion get to them that will take the prize. Again I believe we can have the edge here as well.
Having said all that it will be, for me, squeaky bum time come match day.

Play like we did first half in Wembley and then keep it disciplined and we take it easily.
