I think it comes from some people ( not all) give a reason/excuse for not going and then once that reason/excuse is no more, they then find or give another excuse/reason not to go. You've said from the start your reasons and have stuck with them.
It is a massive administrative hassle and cost (and probably a not insignificant construction cost too) that they don't need, and could avoid in an instant. I'm still vaguely hopeful that common sense might prevail.
Iv'e kind of 'liked' that, but I'd still love to know why anyone would need an 'excuse'. That makes it sound like, say anyone who's been going for so many years, are obliged to continue. Which of course is nonsense. You don't need an excuse. It really is that simple.
It was a massive unwanted hassle in the first place to be kicked out of the E after a dialogue between some of our cheerleader types and the club. I see it as a chance for the club to right a wrong, and - who knows?- we might get some atmosphere back
So, the big question ...... concessions are back, home games are back on the agenda - can I buy single tickets without having a membership?
So when the attendance is even lower than last season it won't be the Allams fault, you fans voted for it and are to blame. Just need to invent quotation marks in a future tense.
I've always said if you want to go do so but if not dont, at one point I used to think crowds are going down ect but have past caring now. I still go but don't like giving money to the Allams but for me Saturday is football day and I like supporting Hull city. I've heard some say if you go you like the Allams which is bull ____ . Most who do go don't like them but go to support City. Regarding people don't have to have an excuse of course they don't you either go or you don't but I think wether you do or not anyone on here wants city to do well or else they wouldn't be on here in the first place.
I think quotation marks still work in a future tense as long as it’s clear that it is a predicted piece of speech ...I realise that may not be the main point here!
I'm pleased that [some] concessions have returned however... No disabled is a disgrace Moving fans from North is spiteful at best They've lost a generation anyway - just asked my lad if he wants to start going again.. "probs not" was his reply I'll probably go back now as my principle was that i wouldn't return until concession did, but they've lost the lad.
If you base your decision on whether to attend or not on your opinion of the owners, what happens if you don't like the next lot either? For the record, I didn't like Lloyd, Fish, Hinchliffe or C Needler.
Spot on I know lot's of people who say the same. Of course I care, I care a lot. I boycotted because I care for my club. It's just the most effective option imo. And as the Allams have implemented this ballot, I'd say I'd say I was right. People should always go their own way.
Why will it make any difference at all to the atmosphere ? Are you saying some fans who haven't been since that initial move will now return ? I don't see it myself
They have done it again. The owners have managed to further divide the divided support but will no doubt say 'You voted for it' and again deflect their mishandling of the club back on to the supporters. Estimated 8 thousand members of which 44.7% voted so 3576. Four and a half thousand couldn't be arsed. 58.1% of 3576 wanted concessions back, so 2077. 2077 (or 3576) out of an average home attendance last season of 12,165 (appreciate that will include some away fans) is hardly a ringing endorsement is it? 716 invalid votes. How many of those might have been non members trying to use an old membership or reference number? I did. The vote should have been extended to a much wider audience of City fans including those non members and ex pass holders. Concessions used to work all around the ground previously but now for some reason cannot include North Stand. Divide and conquer the demoralised fan base. And still no news about the Adkins situation.
I don't go because I won't give money to the odious pair of twats I am pleased concessions have been voted for and should return but twt as they say
Ok let's take out excuse and just stick with reason. Some, again not all give a reason for not going and then give a other reason once the original reason has been taken away. It's almost as if some just don't want to admit they don't want to go anymore because of the **** storm the thundercunts in charge have brought. Each to their own though, you've got your views and principles and have stuck to them in regards to not going till the Allams go, I've said and stuck to the fact nobody no matter how much I dislike them will stop me going to watch my team. Neither one of us is right or wrong.
