    Great news, like the Heed.

    I went to see Heed play at Prenton Park last season. May be able to see Sunderland there next (and I will be going).

    I went to Wembley with them a few seasons back. Was a cracking day out, despite losing 2-1.

    Relegated to the National League North, so it could have been worse.
    Apologies to Gateshead Council as it looks like a 10 year lease has been agreed.

    Should be interesting with the likes of Blyth, Darlo, Spennymoor in the mix.
    Promotion at first attempt hopefully.

    It was to be built on the site of the old North Durham Rugby/Cricket Club pitches on Prince Consort Road.
    Tied in with a proposed new Medical Centre, but it died a slow death through lack of finance, planning and locals being against it.
