Just looked at the stadium webcams. The pitch is getting a cut. In his first summer with Argyle (i.e. at the end of his first season) Adams had the size of the pitch reduced. It looks as if the new pitch has been laid out to those same dimensions. I wonder if that suits Lowe's adventurous style of play as opposed to Adams' more functional one?

 

Another friendly arranged for Home Park, Saturday, July 27th, at 3pm....against Bristol Rovers.

 

Argyle will still be going abroad for pre-season training....Alicante in Spain on July 17th until 22nd.....and hopefully arrange a friendly against a Spanish 'B' team.

Just watched the first half of Italy v Holland.....what a poor game of football that was.....aimlessly kicking the ball around....if only we were allowed to watch some cricket on terrestrial telly.....Sky the winners today.

What I've seen of the cricket has been good - and I don't really like white ball cricket, Perhaps 50 overs is a good compromise. Good apart from England's last two games that is.
