Thankfully doesn’t seem too serious (whatever it is?!), albeit not ideal. Here’s hoping he can at least get some pre-season in before the campaign starts.

    1. Opportunity knocks for someone this pre-season

    2. Never good for a player to increasingly become an injury crock,
    when Pochettino is your manager.

    1. The main beneficiary would have been Luke Amos...if he hadn't already been loaned to QPR. At a guess, George Marsh is likely going to step in

    2. In Dier's case it's not such an issue, as most of his absences last season were due to illness rather than injury, with both appendicitis and tonsillitis ruling him out for periods

Or if Dier is mainly going to be used as 3rd/4th CB this season as has been suggested in some quarters, maybe Carter-Vickers will be the beneficiary

The lunatic fringe were asking for KWP to get more games

Then they said we should sign a right back...

No, not Hysaj, a different right back...

Walker-Peters should have either played more often last season or been loaned out.
I assume that he's 2nd choice behing Aurier for this campaign, but will probably start the season in the first XI.

In all the excitement over signing Kion Etete, I'd competely forgotten that Foyth is suspended for the first 2 games as it is.

Oh good lord. I was so busy watching YouTube clips of Jack Clarke, I'd completely forgotten about that one too! Silly me.

Ben Davies - fitness, available for selection
Dele Alli - hamstring, reportedly back late August
Ryan Sessegnon - hamstring, reportedly back early-to-mid September
Juan Foyth - ankle, reportedly back late September
Troy Parrott - dead leg courtesy of Billion Dollar Stoke defender, awaiting results

Gio is the only one I'm angry about. Sounds like Foyth is a week or so ahead of schedule which is good, and Sanchez being absent is ok now that Jan has been welcomed back into the squad and Dier has graced us with a spell of match fitness.

Crucial for Tanguy to get a solid run of games under his belt now. Also very excited to see Sess in action.

I think that he should be eased back in with some U23 matches, along with Parrott, Tanganga and possibly even Skipp.
He needs to get sharp again and it wouldn't hurt to get him used to playing alongside some of our prospects.

Hearing that Lol Selso is out until November!!! Yet he was claiming it was nothing?

We are not having much luck with injuries to our new signings.
