i found that bit a tad odd tbh as there was no signs of Police/ stewards moving them on . It felt like they either
    a) left voluntarily
b ) were asked to leave and agreed.

of the options b) seems the most likely but that begs the question which official asked them and how did he have come to have such influence on a bunch of neo nazis .

feel like was more option a. Game got stopped, they’d made their point, had their ‘fun’ and could juat walk out without any personal repercussions.

That was strange, a sort of half-arsed twattishness.

I don't understand racism at all. I can imagine in the past that certain people with little experience of different ethnic groups could feel threatened by what they saw as a very alien culture, but you'd think they'd have been disabused of this notion long ago.
I wonder whether these people are genuinely racist or whether they're just bog-standard hooligans and race is an easy and provocative target for them.

I think the commentators went overboard on it last night because of the build up leading up to the game of what measures were in place and how they would be executed. Trouble was expected and turned up right on cue.

I think Mings wouldn't want you feeling sorry for him but would be pleased that following racist abuse, something was actually done. He could be looking back on his England debut in years to come and feeling proud that he was there when the fight against racism began in earnest.

Terrible racism last night, the England players that were targeted can hold their heads high the way they handled it, eastern Europe is renowned for its fascism and racism and it stems from their politicians to the people on their streets.
Must add though that Sterling(as strong in his stance as he was last night)was wrong to back his club teammate Silva, all forms of racism are wrong, including comparing a person to a racist stereotypical image.

I agree mate. You can't complain and condone at the same time. Social media is a form of Pandora's box and we've lost the lid. Just to mix my metaphors, a beast has been created, unleashed to roam where and when it pleases and nobody can catch or tame it.

Yeah, the social media age has seen lots of sports people get into trouble over a number of different things, it's not just racial issues, it's also hate which covers a large area of the internet.
It's not racism but look at the crap thrown at us, people wouldn't get away with it so easy so probably wouldn't do it if their name and address was published along with the offending tweet, comment or article.
But after last night's high profile example of pure racism maybe things will improve, there has to be proper education on the subject and proper punishment, clubs/nations get bigger punishment for breaking advertisement rules than for racism.

Black players have always been racially abused even Wright said last night that he had. There has also always been 'banter', some more cutting than others. The minute you reference skin colour, however, you've overstepped the line.

Eastern Europe is notorious for racism in general so it's not surprising it spills over into fan behaviour. Italy has a reputation for racism on the terraces but it's not so much a problem in daily life in that country.

Racism will be with us for a long time I think. Every country has a responsibility to educate it's citizens. With regard to racism in football venues, we have to wait and see if the measures they've outlined will bring a decrease. At least it's a start. How long you give it I don't know. I don't necessarily agree with clubs or teams being thrown out of competitions for repeated incidents I think behind closed doors is a better option, players shouldn't have to suffer because of fans.

Everton being linked with Jose again.

I still don't know if that's more embarrassing to Jose (after all the big clubs he's been at) or Everton (Jose has been a bit of a joke at his last several appointments,Jose reeks of desperation).

José goes to clubs that have the capacity to win things and enhance his CV - would he take on a club that is unlikely to provide that in the current climate?
He has always seen clubs as his servant in pursuit of his personal glory - it would take some sort of epiphany for him to realise that it's supposed to be the other way around.

I think lots of Everton fans want Moyes back. They surely can't afford to sack another manager. How many compensations are they still paying?
