Must be at least 20 years old For me MASH Fawlty Towers Hill Street Blues Tommy Cooper Monty Python Amazing that I see clips of eg morcombe and wise show and really wonder, Did we really think those blokes were funny? I realise that I have left out OF&H. I look back now I find it unfunny, but each to their own.
Can't comment on the olden stuff, but my taste in music is stellar. I can't tell this little track will stand the test of time to come...
I've never understood the love in with fawlty towers Cleese is so OTT If you'dve had porridge in its place idve agreed with you a billion % I adore Morcambe & Wise
U.K. Gold has a brand new show about them on a Friday I recorded Fridays episode but still haven't watched it
Monty Python Eric n Ernie Tommy Cooper Fawlty Towers in that order for me and all fabulous, it's an age thing. Ronnie
Never liked fawltey towers. Find it annoying rather than funny. I know he's supposed to be a horrible character but he's just horrible horrible.
First thoughts pairings of Bogarde and Bacall, Fred and Ginger. And films, The Outlaw JW, True Grit, Maltese Falcon and Shop around the Corner
Two Ronnies and Porridge, absolutely immense. One common denominator in the greatness that is Ronnie Barker.
Slightly different generation to what's been mentioned but I still laugh at Harry Enfield and chums from the 90s.
I still think Morecambe and wise were funny! That scene with Andre Previn was unbelievable. Funny that you think Fawlty Towers is and they’re not. I think they’re both if a very similar comedy style
Just showed my 9 year old this. She’s now looking fir clips of Les Dawson and laughing her back off at him!! Guess that stands the test of time!
