Yes, I've always been the type of person to experience deep lows and brilliant highs, even back at school, it's kinda annoying... Seems the Vikings are a perfect fit for me in that regard. In other news:

Credit where it’s due, Kirk was great in the second half. First half was a **** show and I’d place the blame with Zimmer. Happens too often that the team comes out slow and looking under prepared and gives up a big lead. Yesterday was possible because they played a 3 win not so great team in the Broncos, do that against a good team and it will be over by half way through the second quarter. This will probably happen in the playoffs

I'm really conflicted. First, I embraced the tank to get a higher draft choice since this year was to develop Sam Darnold. Now the Jets have won three straight and are "down" to picking 10 if the season ended today.

    Damned if you do ?
Having the top picks is often not that advantageous.
    Look at Lamaar Jackson

Conflict over. The Jets have the distinction of being the only team in NFL history to lose to two teams in the same season that were 0-7 or worse.
On the bright side, the Jets beat the Giants this season, so the Giants are the worst team in NYC.

    My once-a-year post....

Hi Saint/Pompey: I'll be testing out your theory/ies with real money tonight. Haven't had a pre-season bet this year, and not a fan of any particular team, so I bet week by week on the game I like the look of. I thought the Seahawks should beat the Vikes (on the grounds that the Seattle D was more likely to get to Cousins than the Minny D was to get to Wilson); could be entirely wrong about that, of course.

But the moneyline on a straight Seattle win is an ungenerous 1.69. When you go further down the page, the line for Seattle to win the first half is still 1.68, which I reckon is much the likelier of the two outcomes. As you've both said, Zimmer tends to ridiculously over-cautious first half second-gear negativity, and I'm expecting - and hoping - the Vikes will trail at HT. After that, quite happy for them to win, for both your sakes. The grandkids' college fund is on the line here, so if I'm wrong I probably won't be back.

Seahawks gone 10-2 with the victory over the Vikings. Back on par with the 49ers now in the NFC West, going to be tight heading in to the last month of normal season. Still giving away too many points defensively though, we'd need an improved defence to get through any play-off matches.

It's official, the Vikings defence is trash.

Xavier Rhodes is literally the 3rd worst corner back in the NFL

Seahawks lost to the Rams, pretty much handed the division to the 49ers now. Play-offs still a possibility though but maybe no home field advantage.

The offciating in the Chiefs v Pats was laughably bad to the point of looking corrupt.

His foot was nowhere near out for the chalked off TD.
Also pass interference call was very poor .
Best team did win though !

yeah, Brady is old and has lost a big out in Gronkowski, and Kansas were quick.

He has dropped off a cliff this year/end of last year. Was one of the best around 2 years ago but must've peaked early (although 29 is reasonably old for a corner, so maybe just past it now).

He won't be with the Vikings next season, Vikings needed to do something about their cap issues and he is earning a lot of money so will be an easy cut (or re-structure his deal to something much lower on the cap)

    AFC is looking tasty.

Ravens got to be favourite to get to Super Bowl but Chiefs, Texans and Pats can beat anyone on their day. The Bills are looking good too!

Brady looking tired but how many times has he proved people wrong? I will never underestimate him.
