On the bus. Poor. MW. Predictable and poor. Lumley poor and poorer. Defence poor. Wallace. Seasoned pro should know not to do that. Attack poor. Hugill gets some respect. Wells and Chair a bit too. 20 mins of reasonable play after the red where I thought we might score. Very nearly did and that would have been massive. Overall. Poor. Sorry but very little to be positive about at present.
Agree need to remember the constraints been working under & our total summer outlay of 50k. Until the recent run we've really been punching above our weight. Need to hope something can be done in Jan to strengthen the defence/keeper.
I’d not have Colin back now, but I wouldn’t mind betting he’d get better results out of the same squad right now. One thing Warnock knows is how to tighten up at the back (oo-er missus) and I reckon he’d get some clean sheets at least. Half the problem is that the stigma of never keeping a clean sheet is starting to affect the team. They’re stepping out into the turf expecting to concede, expecting a gaffe or seven, then thinking “here we go again” when they do. Confidence is at rock bottom as a consequence. Warbles has to get it sorted. It’s very much his ****ing team. I wish we’d kept Matt Smith and just hoofed the ball up to the hulking twat for a bit.
Apparently so....not sure with what or for how long......but really can't see Lumley playing again.....his confidence is shot to pieces...
Well that was totally unacceptable, Forest wasn’t that great but we made them look good! Abysmal passing through the match, lack movement & crossing even worse, don’t what say where we go next with this team & management, need sorting & quick, I left when it was 3 & heard 4th go in, don’t normally leave early but seen enough.
Some very negative comments even at 1-0 down looked the better team, played majority of 2nd half with 10 men but still looked like we could grab an equaliser. 3 goals in last 9 minutes makes it look like a nightmare. Everyone knows Lumley isn't good enough, suggest getting Dieng back from Donny defence is awfully slow and that why we keep conceding from lobbed up balls. Only solution is playing Masterton instead of Leinster but as MW doesn't seem to want to he needs to take the wrath for conceding 2+ goals a game. Surely away to Derby BOS needs a start. I still fancy us at Derby!
Wasn’t a lot be positive about yorkie apart from brief spell in 2nd half in which we had them going & unlucky header Scowen.
We're dropping like a stone, Lumley is a liability and the rest of the defence just keep on making gaffes. The team that made Fulham look second rate for 30 minutes is also capable of looking like rabbits in the headlights. Once in a nosedive it can be difficult to break the plummet, last season was nerve-wracking enough but our decline has started earlier this time, I'm worried we could end up in the mire yet barely a month ago we were in the Play-Off places...
Awful night. Can't think of a worse night. Defence appalling. Didn't think it was a straight red for Wallace, but the foul on Manning just after was. They were much better than us but... Lumley has lost it...we can't get Dieng back until Jan 4th. So you are asking for Barnes,!!!!! We need Rangel and Barbet. Amos was not too bad. Scowen and Hugill played well when they came on. Midfield was completely over run...so Wells got nothing. Eze was not allowed to touch the ball. He has been spotted. We need a confidence boosting win from some where...I hope it is Saturday. I don't know if Rangel, Kelly and Barbet are far from return ...but I would play ..Scowen and Cameron ( obviously instead of Wallace) and Ball...to shore up defence...and try and tighten the defence. And BOS too needs to play, he is the only one whose confidence has not been obliterated.. And btw we do have to stick with Warburton
It's like Groundhog Day. Every season it's a clean slate/new hope up until mid season. We then hit our traditional end of the year bad patch then the optimism turns into the usual hope that we can stay up bollox... Living the dream Up the Rs
Can we have goal kicks back please? Lumley, rolling the ball to the nearest defender, who passes it to another defender, who then passes it back to defender 1, who passes it back (under pressure) to Lumley, who, by then under pressure himself, inevitably hoofs the ball to the opposition midfield, is awful to watch. We just invite trouble playing like this, so why do we do it?
