He was moaning before the crash. And of course, its never his fault. You should work for his PR agency.
With Bottas getting a penalty for a new engine this ought to be a straight fight Hamilton v Verstappen on Sunday? ferrari one lap pace should be good but surely over the long run their measure is had by Lewis and Max? Are we expecting the runners to try to do Q2 on the mediums and then one stop?
I think the teams long runs were messed up when there was a crash and the session was red flagged. So they don't know how the bad degradation is. There is a possibility a 2 stopper will be faster. Hopefully it's a close thing 1 stop vs 2 stop as it might make the race a bit more interesting.
It was a close thing, and you may be correct - especially since the stewards saw it that way and that Bottas admitted going for it without knowing he'd been seen; but you sure have a way with words! ASC's response to you is very funny! -Made me laugh.
you didn't see Ericsson hit him from behind? you never know, the wind might change direction causing a safety car with 10 laps to go.
If it is, Lewis will be keen to debunk Verstappen's belief he is in Lewis's mind which makes me predict a cracker dual and even the two of them taken each other out. Hope as a season finale they keep it clean and leaves us wanting more.
Why do Ferrari keep taking these ridiculous calls on strategy, like starting on the softs for tomorrow? They are cooked by sector 3 in a quali lap, why even do ten laps on them tomorrow?? Is it just because they know they can’t beat Merc and Red Bull via the medium-hard strategy and are just mixing it up for a laugh? EDIT: LeClerc bolts on the mediums and goes fastest in Q2
Well Ferrari have gone off the boil again. If Hamilton can finish the first lap ahead then he should have the race sorted.
That's sad to hear, but it does make me question how any F1 driver holds down a relationship given the time and travel commitments involved.
I wonder if Seb purposely backed up Charles as payback for him saying that 'Seb knew he shouldn't have moved left and caused the crash'!!! Therefore denying Charles a second run at pole?
If anyone scewed CLC it was Albon as there was about the same gap between CLC and Vettel as there was between Vettel and Albon. At the end of the day though, it's up to the driver to get his car across the line in time.
I guess the theme in all of this actually harks back to the bloody tyres? I mean Vettel spun early having slowed down to save tyres. Saving tyres for a one lap!!! Imagine saying that in the Goodyear and Bridgestone era?!
