... what are you expecting/hoping/praying for?

    Will Juan Sartori be there?

Will the manager's position be discussed?

Will one of FPP be present or one of their representatives?

Will Donald issue an immediate statement or keep everyone guessing?

Will anyone be outside pulling faces with their arms folded, possibly tutting?

I've read there will be a rep from FPP there. The club is at one of its all time lows so I'd hope the reasons for that will be faced head on and I'd hope the FPP rep would have something to say about it.

I want nothing to do with Juan Sartori. He's clearly more interested in his own political ambitions.

I think it's a good sign that Parkinson hasn't been publicly backed recently. So I guess what I want coming out the board meeting is an agreement to sack Parky.

    1) Very little

    2) I think he might if FPP are there

    3) Yeah if the info is correct, although where it originated I don't know if anyone actually remembers

    4) Probably not. We usually do a board recap by email and make sure everyone agrees with the notes and actions we'll take. I'd imagine there'll be nothing before the weekend and more likely the week after.

    5) I'll be in London but I'll probably be doing that sitting in traffic.

I think allowing him to fetch another one of his mates in is public backing

Whoever is in attendance I hope they realise what a complete mess they have made of the club thus far and make some forward thinking decisions that will get this great club back on track...starting with this hapless manager. That said, I also hoped sometime in my life I would be hanging out of Kelly Brook...but that won't happen either.

I can't see Parky going before the end of the season.
If Parky says he needs 5 new players, big, strong and fast.
And if Coton says he had a number of big strong players lined up but JR wouldn't have them.
I would guess we'll try and go down that route.
    Ever hopeful. :)

Going by the last 10 years whatever decisions will be made will later be regretted. Useless/disinterested player signings sanctioned. More pals of Donald ,Hill and Coton jumping on the gravy train with jobs for the boys type appointments and more "austerity" cutbacks.

Genuinely not even sure who would be at a board meeting now Methven has resigned. Donald, Sartori, is Lowes a director? They might as well just Skype if that's all there is!

If a member of FPP is there then that makes it more interesting. First things first I hope (and expect) they discuss not only the alarming results under Parkinson but also the lack of style, the awful tactics and the growing disconnect between the club's biggest asset (the fans) and the rest of the setup. Big decisions need to be taken. Parkinson should go, he's utterly unfit to be manager of Sunderland, as the vast, vast majority said before he came here.

Ultimately though, nothing will change whilst Donald is in charge. I really hope FPP can turn the screw and convince him that he might as well cut his losses now and get out of the club. I wouldn't trust him to appoint a good successor to Parkinson, I wouldn't trust his recruitment team to improve the squad. The entire culture of the club, and the entire support structure needs to change. I don't think Donald is the man to do it. So the very least I want is a sacking of Parkinson and a DoF to do the bits that Donald obviously can't, but even better would just be a full change of ownership. Can't see it happening yet like

I wanted the owners to be a success with FFP backing them but I think it will be in everyones best interests for FFP to take full control now if and a big if if they are still interested.

If that happen we would get some momentum...gets some, big, hard and fast players in in January and try and move out some of the small, weak cowards currently in our ranks. Hopefully we could still make the playoffs.

A massive week for the club.

I really wanted Mr Donald to be a succes with FFP backing but I think we need FFP taking full control now with proper investment and some real professionals coming into the club from top to bottom.

Agreed. Some are starting to give Donald a fair bit of abuse. I won't go down that route, I don't think he's a chancer and I don't think he was just after a quick buck. After all, he chose to buy into a non league side, there's no money to be made there even if you get them into league one (which would be incredibly hard). He obviously did that because he loves football and wanted to own a club. Given that we know he loves football, you can imagine him being incredibly excited about getting the chance to own a club like Sunderland. It's very rare for a club this big to be ran so badly that they're in the third tier, for that to tie in with a time when he was looking to get involved with another club must have been a dream.

I think he bought us for the right reasons, he thought he could make a success of it at a club like this and genuinely wanted to turn the club around. He should, however, admit that he's failed, that he's not got the money to absorb failure and keep coming back for more, and that even if he did he hasn't ever looked like getting key decisions right, and if there's any chance of FPP coming in he should be desperately looking to finally get a decision right and facilitate a sale.
