If it goes all green and purple along the bottom of your foot its probably ligament damage. Did it myself a few times years ago playing football. 2 weeks and you'll be ok.

Looks similar to mine about 30 years ago I thought it was broke but got xrayed (which is the only way to tell really) and it was ligament. I was on crutches for a couple of weeks then got back to work. It felt weak for ages after that but I was driving an HGV and pressing that big heavy clutch can't of helped. Stick an ice pack on it to try and get the swelling down :emoticon-0148-yes:

you could do a uncle albert/Stan butler and gan ower in a supermarket for compo ! about 18 years ago i stood in a pothole/tarmac with a hole in it about a foot wide turned my foot nearly right over, next day purple and puffed up bit of pain, did not gan to the docs just let it heal itself took about a week, limped a bit. i duffed the docs because i broke a rib and the doctor shoved me chest in to find out if it was broke ! and i jumped of course, that was much worse could not get about for about 6 weeks.

I thought the ligaments were around the bottom of your ankle, all the swelling seems to be above it. I’m probably wrong but I don’t think it’s your ligaments and I wouldn’t wait until tomorrow to go to a&e I would be there now

Can’t tell from pic obviously but looks similar to wife’s when she went over on hers in the lakes. Turned out broken but best thing you can do before getting to A&E is keep it raised and cool to get the swelling down because they won’t operate unless it’s less stretched
