Tribute by Mick Dennis. http://norwichcity.myfootballwriter...the-modern-version-of-norwich-city-was-built/
An absolute colossus of a man and legend doesn’t even come close. Never known for his subtlety Big Dunc had a tackle that could fell a mature oak tree and took no prisoners. However, off the field he was a genuinely nice guy and I feel honoured and privileged to have seen him play and have met him in person.
One comment attributed to the Big Man,regarding the physical side of his play, "If I played today,I would get a red card in the warm up" Classic Dunc
Former England captain Bob Willis has died at the age of 70. The fast bowler took 325 wickets in 90 Tests from 1971 to 1984, claiming a career-best 8-43 to help England to a famous win over Australia at Headingley in the 1981 Ashes. He captained England in 18 Tests and 29 one-day internationals before his retirement from all forms of cricket in 1984. Loved Bob,spoke his own mind.RIP Big Bob
Ron Saunders has passed away. The man who got us into the top flight for the first time in our history.
Botanist and broadcaster David Bellamy has died aged 86, the Conservation Foundation he formed has said. London-born Bellamy, who became a household name as a TV personality, scientist and conservationist, died on Wednesday, according to the foundation. His colleague, David Shreeve, described him as a "larger-than-life character" who "inspired a whole generation". Wonderfull Guy. RIP David
Another City great has passed away. RIP Martin Peters. A player 20 years ahead of his time. I feel so fortunate to have seen him play, especially in a yellow shirt.
A great player with his ability to ghost through packed defences to score vital goals. It really was an honour to have seen him play. He played more games for us than for either Spurs. We could use him today. RIP Martin.
In my opinion he was our greatest ever player - certainly my favourite of all time. Like you Resurgam I feel fortunate and privileged to have seen him grace the pitch at Carrow Road numerous times and he made everything look effortless. A star has gone out tonight. RIP Martin.
RIP Microsoft Windows 7, which officially expires today, in terms of security updates etc. You've been a good servant but we move on.
No-one has reported on here the death of the greatest drummer ever (imho) - the marvellous Neil Peart of Rush. An outstanding skinsman and a great lyricist and songwriter. He leaves a legacy of magnificent music - RIP Professor.
