Swap Choudhury for Perez and Vardy for Iheanacho and that was the formation and team we should have fielded against Liverpool.

Far too easy today, and Ndidi just gets better with every game.

Very professional performance. Maybe a bit boring to watch as the domination was so great and lacked any urgency as the first half meant we didn't need to chase anything Heavy fixture load coming up so they just did enough to comfortably win. The highlight was obviously Choudhurys goal and what a special way to get your first for the club. The other players looked like they enjoyed it as much for him as he did. One other thought, Vardy would have left with a hatful today.

Agree with that entirely. Boring was exactly the second half but how can we be anything but delighted with a 3-0 win! They were there to be smashed up Southampton style and as supporters, we’d love to see them go for the throat there and do just that. I guess from a sensible point of view, professional game management and preserving of energy during a busy period is the priority.

Agreed. Although initially I was a bit disappointed with 3-0 (which is ludicrous), in that we didn't go for it like Southampton. On reflection it was sensible given the intense fixture period. Pretty much a light training session second half.

Because we'd conceded quite a few over the festive period I thought we could repair our GD. A closer look at the table later and I realized only the top 3 have got a GD in double figures, woa!
In fact, after yesterday's results all teams 5th and below are closer to the relegation zone than they are to us.

The table is indeed looking very strange right now. If I supported a team in the bottom half of the table, I'd be quite worried.
