I'm not one for calling for a managers head because its popular to do so but I must hold my hands up and apologise to Dai because atm he looks like he was right. To be beaten by the better team is one thing but to see how quickly we've regressed since the end of last season with NO improvement as a team or individually is worrying .I notice Routledge has now come out in support of Cooper ,why is that I wonder .I believe he is out of his depth in terms of team selection tactics and substituations , the less said about his coaching ability the better .

ofcourse it is embarrassing to us, .... when an ass like Lineker seems to delight in announcing that Q.P.R. Have THRASHED Swansea. 5 - 1. Is the Manager not embarrassed, ? Is not the Chairman Birch, who was sitting next to Leon not embarrassed? .... Their only consolation was that they did not have to put their hand in their pockets, as the travelling fans had to do. I wonder if our manager even watched the video of how qpr beat caaaadiff to see how to counter the same game plan against us ?

 

a company man , employed by the owners to try and get us ready for the sale ,no more no less. Expect more meaningless platitudes from the players and coaching staff after todays performance or should i say non performance

Fair enough. You are entitled to your opinion. ... But as far as I am concerned, it is always better to lose with a little bit of pride than lose with a whimper, ........... or surrender as Cooper did today.

 

Understandable to rest a few but it looked a light selection physically as much as anything. You were the better team until the first goal but regressed quickly after that.

Out of interest, did the manager suggest he’d rest the whole side beforehand? Really mugged off those who made the trip at this time of year.

 

Out of interest again, ..... with the transfer window open, ...... I wonder how many young players looking in and seeing us being hammered. 5 - 1. Would fancy coming here on loan. Did our manager think of that?

 

We aren't a "physical" side , too lightweight in the middle with I'm afraid too many players afraid to put their foot in ,not in dirty way just to attempt to tackle.A mixture of inexeprience and lack of commitmant by some players gifted you the game which you deserved to win

Wtf? He's managing a bang average squad, devoid of any serious quality siting in a play offs place when many feared a relegation battle.

 

Actually, the whole division - WBA and Leeds apart - is bang average.

Yet, with ‘better’ team selection and a playing style of pace and width, we could be even better positioned.

So, it’s not surprising that some are wondering whether we are in a Play-Off spot despite Cooper rather than because of him....

I’m undecided - hopefully, the longer the season progresses, the better his team selection and tactical nous will become
