We have a young side who are inconsistent but if Bowen had put that chance away then maybe a different result. I think the most disappointing thing at the moment apart from the result is our lack of shots on goal, The last two home games plus today we really seemed to have lacked creativity and because of this it's not giving our forwards much of a chance. Disappointing day overall but easy cup game coming up next week so should get back to winning ways.
Classic sir Steven Bruce smash n grab just had a skeg on the Mag’s board and one of them slagged Hayden off all the way through
Meanwhile, Hull City's Grant McCann has told his team that winning 11 and losing 11 is not good enough.
When I was small child, growing up on Orchard Park, my parents got me a big bible with lots of pictures in it. Yes we learned to read on Orchard Park... In this biblical account, there was a picture of Jonah himself and he was sat in a Whale. He had a fire in there too. He was warming himself by this fire, probably whilst cooking a fish for his tea. I would've been about six or seven years old and even then I thought to myself 'Jonah didn't live in no ****ing Whale'!
One thing on reflection from yesterday, and calling it early and bravely, I think wilks will make more of a difference than samuelson or kane, he only had a few touches but looked aggressive and quick, got a good feeling about him
Perhaps unsurprising as he has been charged with violent disorder and assault occasioning actual bodily harm
I hope Eaves was just feeling a bit jaded, hence being benched, because if he wasn't I'd be Prince Harry'd...
